I dont see Capital group as sellers, large funds always adjust positions. Nothing to suggest they are selling entire holding.

I didn't specify whom. Just sellers in general.

We know for a fact Sailingstone are about to clear after a very long time.

Think it turns in next couple weeks when they clear once and for all, reckon a lot will be kicking themselves not taking a position.

I think you have to be careful comparing to EnCore - I recall it went as low as 8p after the debacle with the gas storage, Catcher came in and Mr Booth became the Messiah. Not following OPHR close enough but where is the significant near term explo opportunities ?
Having said that Alan Booth was always upfront and due to EnCore's tight monetary policy initially use to reply to PI queries directly. I seem to recall he once became quite upset about a posting on MF and actually set up an account and replied but then took it down - I think that is a correct recollection.

The good thing is (For those that haven't already invested) that the sellers are providing a pretty unique opportunity here. I've been comparing it with Encore at 14p - and funnily enough a certain Mr Booth was in charge then as well.

Will look to add over next couple weeks once sailingstone are confirmed out.

Sailingstone have been selling for over a year from 80-90p atleast, so I expect with the new aqusition and freecashflow numbers we will see 50p+ sometime in Q4.

Obvious to see how undervalued this is.

Since Schlumberger walked , the share price has declined from 80p to 35p and the usual culprits have been trying to put a positive spin on it , do not be fooled , these guy's want you to buy so they can limit their damage , avoid the share price until news of Fortuna is confirmed , you will have plenty of time to make profits if they can sort the finance.

I think you will find that there are now two sellers , Sailing Stone , and now also Capital , who have around 9 % of the shares , so a possible long downward spiral yet to unfold , the share price has not reached bottom , confirmation that the company has lost Fortuna will have at least a 10p decline once announced . Follow the money , which for now is exit route 1 .

At this market cap it is very undervaued.

Just a case of buying as the seller is compeltely out....Sailingstone probably on less than 1% now.

Could go a little lower before it heads higher but within next few weeks I expect shareprice will rerate with no seller on the books.

GG - the tie up could add value in three ways for me.

1. Reduce costs across the board
2. Allow for more deals to be done
3. Increase the attractiveness of the business to larger corporations.

Thanks for the link. Reaffirms my positive view of where they are heading/aims and prioritisation of focusing on producing with further development of existing fields with appropriate infrastructure in place. As I have previously stated, my view is Booth has come in to sort out Fortuna if he can, and I don't get any negative vibes from the call.

Im not sure a tie up with soco will do much for either shareholders.

Watched the analyst session. No promises on fortuna but lots of talk of SE Asia consolidation. I still see a tie up with soco as likely

Tks ohisay.

Interesting read.
Sounded quite promising, with consolidation opps in the far east.

Not sure if im correct, but they seem qyite positive on getting at least something for fortuna

In reference to the EO. Selling to PMO

Encore were never going to go it alone or into production. Booth did well for the shareholders, and PMO got a good deal as well.

Premier 80-85k guidance, debt 2.7bill, mkt cap 1bill.902mmboe reserves and resources

Ophr 25-27.5k guidance, debt 115m, mkt cap 260m.1bill reserves and resources.

Obv pmo have more reserves, and ophr is more resources.

Thanks again, I find some websites are out of date and is good to ask some questions on a BB, although never make a decision from what is said on a BB, Booth really just proved up Buzzard, Catcher and sold them for good returns for the shareholders, he has never been a production guy as I understand, so this is a little bit different territory for him, however I see him as a straight shooter and feel Ophr is in good hands with him in charge.

So if Fortuna does go ahead/get a deal will these shares will re-rate imminently? if no deal as it is now priced in, then not much more downside as they have got into a pretty good deal recently with the Santo T/O

My view only, but I believe Booth has been brought in for one prime objective, and we shall find out in December!
