13/12/2023 07:48 | With those numbers already out in India the bulk of the profits was made in the second half of the interims so now the coal price is back to normal then they should be able to sustain these profits H2 so they should be making at least £10 million PBT which is easily going to smash the broker forecast which is what seems to matter these days | dave4545
13/12/2023 07:44 | When you see £30 mil stocks with net debt making small profits rise on results and outlook it makes you wonder what this stock has to do. Surely the rerate starts here now, it's very good value in a market where most stocks are struggling to make a penny | dave4545
13/12/2023 07:35 | The company is definitely going in the right direction... | igoe104
11/12/2023 19:27 | 160k delayed buy before the close. Bit baffling where the stock is coming from atm ?? | dave4545
11/12/2023 08:35 | Great online spread 13.1-13.15p | dave4545
08/12/2023 17:37 | Look at those 2 delayed buys by the same person 150k at 13.25p and 111k at 13.3p You could buy at 13.05p before those trades wonder if the limits on Monday will have changed. Unless of course interims arrive | dave4545
07/12/2023 08:51 | Net zero is a con anyway, see Sultan Ahmed Al-Jaber’s latest comments. Part of the con is believing there is such a thing as carbon offsets. I recommend the Daily Sceptic website for an alternative perspective on net zero. | tim000
06/12/2023 18:18 | Hopefully you don’t believe the founders of ER and their global counterparts care about carbon emissions? All these organisations are funded by billionaire’s foundations, some of these billionaires inherited their money from the family shareholdings of oil companies. Last I looked, these billionaires all have private jets to avoid the masses, and personal carbon emissions totally inconsistent with their supposed ideologies. But what else they have in common is large investments in taxpayer subsidised green energy projects. Follow the money as they say. I’m happy to invest in a business that helps raise living standards in India. | tim000
06/12/2023 17:39 | Indeed. You might tell that to Extinction Rebellion the next time they bring London or elsewhere to a standstill! (Never mind China......) | jeffian
06/12/2023 17:32 | Latest official stats show coal fired power generation growing by 16.4% in the 12 months to November, following growth of 39% in the 12 months to October. Obviously these are data following the end of the interim results period. | tim000
06/12/2023 15:48 | I believe the company has sought a mandate to buy back shares at the AGM for several years now. In the past, profitability didn’t warrant executing one. Obviously that might change in the current FY. | tim000
06/12/2023 15:45 | The idea that there would be a trading update at the AGM is absurd! The interim results should be published next week, that’s where you will find an update! I didn’t attend the AGM, it’s a long way to travel, but I may well go next year instead. I tend to agree with Goldbug that any buyback will be via a tender rather than open market purchases. | tim000
06/12/2023 15:37 | The AIM stock market in London has failed this company. If I was them I would want to take it private with a view to merging it with an Indian entity at some stage in the future. Obviously it would be a very delicate issue at what price this is done. Clearly it should be near book value or a reasonable discount to that. | the original goldbug
06/12/2023 15:11 | What benit would they have to take private - they could get more investment and grow company ... | nathandc
06/12/2023 15:09 | Tender for shares to take it private would require a voteThey own the majority of the company anyway. What % voting rights do they need to take it private ? | nathandc
06/12/2023 15:09 | Mid price to sell now online 12.755p Convinced it's a buy order of some type Can also buy well inside spread 13.095p | dave4545
06/12/2023 14:33 | Interesting they print a 120k delayed buy just 2 mins after a 99k sale suggesting it was a worked order. Thanks TOG | dave4545
06/12/2023 10:59 | The buyback if it happens will be a tender offer not just random buying in the market. It will take time to organise and will likely be early Q2 next year. At least that is my understanding how it is likely to work. Alternatively they will build cash and take this private. I hope they do it at no less than a 20% discount to book value. PLF’s are operating at maximum capacity finally. The good times are about to role. Whether it will be listed in its current form 2 years from now where we get to see all the benefits is questionable. Still I think an 18 month price target is about 35p. That would still leave another 20p on the table if it was taken private. | the original goldbug
06/12/2023 10:12 | Tim Can the buyback now take place ? It's just the online bid is up to 12.575p despite selling yesterday and today so could be a order in. | dave4545

05/12/2023 13:49 | I'm more interested into what happens to the share price when the buybacks start which was passed today in the resolutions :-)) | dave4545

05/12/2023 13:23 | Did anyone make it to the AGM? No AGM trading update released. All feels a bit hush hush at the moment | cvjr4
04/12/2023 11:48 | Online is strong 12.475p bid almost mid price and 37500 max at 12.95p on the offer | dave4545 |
