04/5/2021 09:55 | It all just keeps adding to the pot, I love recurring revenue stocks. | wanttowin
04/5/2021 08:12 | One thing we can be sure. OMIP will not have overpaid. Maybe this is a small deal, but more will come in time, and the fundamentals look far more attractive than the big players IMO. | spin doctor
04/5/2021 06:38 | One of my favourites. Good to see them spending the placing money. More to come hopefully over next 3 months. Also need to see how they plan to monetise TCAT and get value for us out of it. | harrogate
04/5/2021 06:09 | Showing my age now, but went to see Kid Creole and the Coconuts twice in the early 80's. Front row tickets, in front of the Coconuts. The girlfriend wasn't impressed....but still married. Still listen to their stuff now. Welcome to the Lifeboat Party. | tiltonboy
16/4/2021 13:06 | Options awards noted. Seem reasonable to me. The Executive team are not over-paid in cash terms. They should be incentivised to deliver share price gains, as this does. | spin doctor
14/4/2021 18:35 | Yes Yump. I don't see any media froth that would have prompted very short term trades. Nor however do I see any trades of a scale suggesting Institutional buying. The OMIP team have however been speaking to instis and PIs over the last week. Has anyone downloaded the latest Cenkos note? Free to access after registration at SONG value their catalogue through a dcf model. Apply that, or an earnings multiple approach (as Cenkos have done) to the OMIP assets, and you get to a fair value per share of 17.6p with a multiple of 10x. And that's without deployment of the £5M or so cash. | spin doctor
14/4/2021 09:51 | This is just like an “old-fashioned Hopefully a sign of serious investor and not daily punter interest. | yump
14/4/2021 08:44 | ooooh have my prayers been answered ? | wanttowin
14/4/2021 08:28 | Timing looks right for a move up. I’ll update the header a bit when I get back to a PC as away atm | yump
13/4/2021 15:03 | Oh I do hope the seller is gone, would like to smash through 8p please! | wanttowin
13/4/2021 14:33 | MMs seem very short. Is the longterm seller out, or just pausing? | spin doctor
09/4/2021 10:20 | Ticking up in the absence of hard news. Positive. I've acquired a few more. | spin doctor
08/4/2021 21:47 | bit disappointed that there wasn't more activity off the back of their decent results. the numbers and multiples are nice, particularly when you compare to the likes of hipgnosis etc. I do find some of michael's tweets a bit poor taste though. | theseeker1123
06/4/2021 11:57 | Muted (non existent) reaction continues. CEO doing the rounds making the investment case. I have topped up since results, still seems decent volume of stock around, presumably bored PIs, as no RNSs. Note the 25% rise in share price after the Take That news, this is surely primed to fly with news of deals. | spin doctor
01/4/2021 19:56 | Worth registering at Cenkos and downloading the updated OMIP note. With what are IMV conservative assumptions on revenue and EBITDA growth, and at a highly conservative multiple of earnings, the current share price is highly attractive. | spin doctor
31/3/2021 21:27 | 'Risk averse approach'. 'Strong pipeline'. | spin doctor
31/3/2021 21:20 | Solid commentary from CEO Infante in this piece from LSE. He knows the music business back to front and I am confident that good value deals will be done. | spin doctor
31/3/2021 12:03 | No surprises. The strategic opportunity remains. A couple of quotes from CEO Infante caught my eye - "It remains paramount to the Board not to rush M&A activities and remain highly selective, keeping in mind the best interest of all shareholders." - "We have seen companies successfully investing in music catalogues 'Intellectual Property' (IP) and rapid growth in values of existing recurring monetary income streams." It's clear that OMIP will not overpay for new material. | spin doctor
31/3/2021 07:51 | Good results but I think it was all known already and the main driver will be tcat announcements. | yump
31/3/2021 07:46 | I'm surprised at the muted response to a solid update, especially EBITDA being up 38%. | wanttowin
31/3/2021 07:37 | Solid stuff I think. | capt bligh
26/3/2021 09:57 | I think at some point a wider investment community will wake up to what TCAT is. Its not as if its some new fangled thing - its got a proven record on which to expand. | yump
22/3/2021 09:19 | Results imminent. Whilst waiting, FWIW I note that OMIP is included in the (short...) list of companies meeting Joel Greenblatt's 'magic formula'. But heck, we knew OMIP is cheap on historic criteria. Results have largely been flagged in the trading update. It will obv be interesting to see how deployment of last year's cash inflow is going. Perhaps slowly - my sense is that this team will not overpay for 'in perpetuity' cash streams. | spin doctor |
