06/6/2021 09:15 | Telegraph story about deal for producer rights of some Culture Club songs | harrogate
31/5/2021 08:41 | Seem to be a few hints on coming deals on MI Twitter over the weekend. Let's hope it is a " Jam tomorrow" stock. | harrogate
28/5/2021 11:00 | As the OMIP CEO asks on Twitter, what is wrong with this announcement? Probably sold down that 2.98% by now, IMO. | spin doctor
27/5/2021 18:38 | In that case I’m surprised a 1p difference bothers you ! At least this business is actually a viable one - unlike the collection of loss-makers bigging it up on AIM | yump
25/5/2021 14:03 | ex Barings. Nick destroyed me but I'm coming back. | pmount
14/5/2021 14:07 | Are you very new to the stock market ? | yump
12/5/2021 21:00 | Share option of 3000000 for 7p each one. Is that sticking one on shareholders who pay for them. YOu buy them for 8p and they buy them for 7p HOW DOES THAT WORK | pmount
06/5/2021 13:21 | Competition for assets, yes, but OMIP's breadth and selectivity should pay dividends (sic) in that context. | spin doctor
05/5/2021 08:26 | I’ll have to see if my vinyl is worth anything - theres at least 2 in the rack somewhere. | yump
04/5/2021 20:53 | Quite a sales pitch. Kid: "I started Kid Creole and the Coconuts in 1979. I had no idea then that I was destined to enjoy success around the world for the next 40 years. With the team at One Media iP and their Harmony iP initiative I have now ensured my musical legend will continue for another 40 years," said Darnell MI: “Acquisitions such as these continue to add value to our business through a recurring revenue model and as such, we have a strong pipeline of future acquisition targets for 2021. Furthermore, our proprietary market-leading anti-piracy TCAT software can underpin and police the future integrity of artists income by assuring that all uses of tracks under our umbrella are protected and enforced and that all reporting of usage is carefully monitored. This is a significant advantage for One Media when securing royalty acquisitions such as these, and a huge positive for all parties involved in the income chain of rights monetisation,” Infante said. | spin doctor
04/5/2021 20:37 | This deal gives real credibility to the OMIP offer, of Harmony IP + TCAT. More deals will surely follow. Caring for coconuts! As Kid says below: “One Media is a natural home for my music because they are focused on digital; nowadays there are hundreds of platforms,” said Darnell. “Kid Creole has to look after his Coconuts’ way into the future and that’s why I’ve done the deal.” | spin doctor
04/5/2021 19:28 | Double top 25 per cent retrace 3 months 6p | pmount
04/5/2021 18:32 | I went to see the film of Pink Floyd - Live at Pompeii. At the end of the film the crowd chanted one more tune, one more tune. | serratia
04/5/2021 18:20 | yump, Birmingham Odeon. I saw it as a show rather than a concert. August Darnall was definitely a showman. | tiltonboy
04/5/2021 17:19 | For the record, my liking for Kid Creole and the Coconuts is entirely to do with the entertainment value of their concerts (first seen in 1982 I think) and nothing at all to do with the Coconuts ;-) @tiltonboy You got away with that then ! Fortunately I saw them with mates not the girlfriend. | yump
04/5/2021 10:55 | It all just keeps adding to the pot, I love recurring revenue stocks. | wanttowin
04/5/2021 09:12 | One thing we can be sure. OMIP will not have overpaid. Maybe this is a small deal, but more will come in time, and the fundamentals look far more attractive than the big players IMO. | spin doctor
04/5/2021 07:38 | One of my favourites. Good to see them spending the placing money. More to come hopefully over next 3 months. Also need to see how they plan to monetise TCAT and get value for us out of it. | harrogate
04/5/2021 07:09 | Showing my age now, but went to see Kid Creole and the Coconuts twice in the early 80's. Front row tickets, in front of the Coconuts. The girlfriend wasn't impressed....but still married. Still listen to their stuff now. Welcome to the Lifeboat Party. | tiltonboy
16/4/2021 14:06 | Options awards noted. Seem reasonable to me. The Executive team are not over-paid in cash terms. They should be incentivised to deliver share price gains, as this does. | spin doctor
14/4/2021 19:35 | Yes Yump. I don't see any media froth that would have prompted very short term trades. Nor however do I see any trades of a scale suggesting Institutional buying. The OMIP team have however been speaking to instis and PIs over the last week. Has anyone downloaded the latest Cenkos note? Free to access after registration at SONG value their catalogue through a dcf model. Apply that, or an earnings multiple approach (as Cenkos have done) to the OMIP assets, and you get to a fair value per share of 17.6p with a multiple of 10x. And that's without deployment of the £5M or so cash. | spin doctor |
