25/7/2022 17:00 | Getting cheaper | john09
25/7/2022 10:47 | All this nonsense is creating some good opportunities Wonder if this will dip under a quid. Looking the likeliest outcome | john09
11/7/2022 08:34 | Thanks wally. EZJ boss was quoted in the Times over the weekend too, admitting current chaotic state of the industry but insisting actual number of customers seriously disrupted remains small and expects demand to remain high. Also agreed UK recession almost a certainty but says not worried, expects 'trading down' which benefits low cost carriers which has been the case in previous recessions. OTB are not tied to an airline they are nimble and very customer focused. | paleje
09/7/2022 20:35 | This received a buy recommendation in Shares Mag this week. Not necessarily a good thing, have seen them make a few howlers, but also some good buys. Quite impressed they have the guts to tip it! Pretty good write up saying there are plenty of hazards ahead, but if you are prepared to weather a storm or 2, OTB are likely big winners in a few years. Seems they have come out of covid in much better shape than many. May pick up a few next week, since I picked up a few tui on Friday. I give tui a 25 percent chance of a quick return to 200p, might hedge my bets here too! Certainly on my watch list. | wallywoo
04/7/2022 13:03 | Demand is the issue….. | john09
04/7/2022 12:48 | Bit of anecdotal info from Hays Travel they were interviewed by Radio 4's PM Thurs or Fri last week, apparently their bookings are way up and they are finding people are splashing out more with the average price of a family 2+2 holiday up by £500. They didn't challenge him or ask for further clarification unfortunately as the thrust of the article was the the mess airlines and airports seem to be in but it was not stymieing demand so far. | paleje
15/6/2022 10:47 | It doesn't show any shorting for OTB on so what are you going on about mille, and the airlines are starting to get their acts together albeit slowly. I agree we're not at the bottom of a bear market and more inflation ahead but peeps want their sun and sand breaks after a couple of ripoff staycation years and short haul hols are still good value. OTB are nimble and well managed, attracting more premium clients and looking to a better 2nd half, I think the selling is overdone but that isn't to say it can't get more overdone. Buying in tranches might make sense. | paleje

13/6/2022 14:43 | This is just warming up, so many financial headwinds and no visible end in sight, amazed at people buying today, basically anyone who buys is claims this is the bottom, which clearly won't be, see the shorts have increased, good luck | milliecusto
13/6/2022 13:33 | I tried to book flights London to Geneva next March with BA. Cost was more than double what I paid this March. Unless airlines have hedged next years jet fuel, it's going to be carnage. | northwards
13/6/2022 08:50 | Extract from Sky news The data chimes with widespread warnings that the economy faces a prolonged period of low growth, caused by a cost of living crisis that is only forecast to intensify in the months ahead as energy bills rise to stoke inflation further.Must be looking at sub 100, when you also factor in the airport scandals | milliecusto
12/6/2022 12:19 | Positive update in SCSW, but (as with RCH etc) rationality rarely applies in the stock market - successful investors are those who can read the waves of fear and greed... | cyberbub

10/6/2022 16:25 | Finally it’s dropping Charmed life up until this point for some reason | john09
10/6/2022 16:21 | Just the year low, rsi at 46 and Macd negative, still further downside unfortunately | milliecusto
01/6/2022 16:08 | Support broken | milliecusto
01/6/2022 09:07 | Support tested again at 200p, if it doesn't hold, next support 150 | milliecusto
30/5/2022 16:39 | Expect another test at 200p tomorrow, it bounced last week, let's if the support is there | milliecusto
30/5/2022 15:12 | It'll hit OTB. Airlines will pay out some comp, but as a package provider, OTB will have to foot expensive last minute alternative flights, or a full refund (and presumably the resorts won't want to give the full refund of the hotel nights to OTB).The buck stops with tour operators when things go wrong, which is the case here. Unfortunately. | boonkoh
30/5/2022 06:28 | Half term Flights getting cancelled at the last minute because airlines don’t have enough trolley dollies ! EasyJet and Tui affected so far | john09
26/5/2022 14:19 | Everyone sell shares, seems the people attached to the any company are prohibited, not everyone sold and we don't know their financial position. Anyway the grants delivered today will help ease the financial pressure, not sure on the impact to OTB, however a small positive | milliecusto
26/5/2022 13:41 | Less than 40,000 traded shares moved the price up nearly 5% before 9 am this morning 850,000 traded yesterday. 3.6m the day before. | darrin1471
26/5/2022 13:25 | Do not hold but would be concerned some of the executive team are selling up 50% off year highs and near year lows. | darrin1471 |
