No compotian to very different products as the article says Tesco is 85% store picked.

Cold chain is a major problem for store picked items due they are out of refrigeration.

The Ocado chain is safe.

foodstuffs at between +2°C and +4°C food thermometer. Frozen means keeping foodstuffs at -20°C (appliance thermometer). If these temperatures are respected, the cold chain will not be broken during transport and storage in shallow containers or bigger containers.

IT'S YET MORE BAD NEWS FOR OCADO !!
===================================

Tesco is challenging Ocado with a new e-commerce venture designed to help international supermarket chains build up their online businesses.

Transcend Retail Solutions, a Tesco subsidiary led by Oliver Vogt, provides software and hardware for international grocers to fulfil online orders from their own stores.

Transcend, which also provides consultancy services, signed its first deal with New Zealand's largest food and grocery retailer, FOODSTUFFS NORTH ISLAND, and it is holding talks with other retailers.

Unlike Ocado, Tesco now handles more than ONE MILLION orders per week.

Whilst Ocado can only watch enviously from the sidelines, it recently came to light that two of Ocado's major clients, America's KROGER and Canada's SOBEYS have put the brakes on warehouse openings after the growth in online grocery shopping across North America failed to meet expectations.

Stutes, your obsession with the CEO of Ocado is truly laughable.
You do realise Ocado isn’t some lone individual, right?
It’s a global entity spanning continents, driven by market forces far beyond your tunnel vision.
The short positions have skewed the valuation, and let’s not even get into the fact that being bumped to a lower index means pension funds aren’t even required to hold the stock anymore.
Meanwhile, Ocado is the fastest-growing retailer, and interest in its CFCs and technology is surging.
Maybe take a step back, relax, and try to grasp that your unhealthy fixation has absolutely nothing to do with reality.

Ocado = STRONG BUY

I believe CEO is the wrong person to move Ocado to the next level. Ask the question is the CEO the next Lord Nuffield or Sir Jim Ratcliffe or Sir J Dyson? The CEO has had time and money to deliver- too many missteps- fire, Australia, Kroger freeze on cfcs without financial compensation. Time for CEO to go.

It is worth remembering that Ocado's business operations remain heavily loss-making where it matters and it continues to burn cash at an astonishing rate..

Don't expect any dividend payments.

The failed share ramper from London, usually refers to macroeconomics and the state of the economy as part of his failed message board share ramping.

Well the drift down continues - status quo - Kroger cfc rollout on hold but for relocating spokes, Australian 2 CFC launch came and went with little fanfare from Ocado.
