I'm pretty sure if I look at the trades on some of the more popular PI portfolios that someone is selectively selling off stuff either due to a margin call or they are in too much pain or they are selling off some stuff to keep hold of something else which is going the wrong way.

There have been strange trades on TUNG, PTSG, NTBR, FA., plus any number of others at smaller volume. Shares have been sold at very low prices as if someone doesn't have any choice. The markets have been pretty terrible the last 3 weeks if you've been on the wrong side of things.

I guess it's hitting that time now where you've either got to be prepared to ride it out or move on. Or get out and wait to see where it settles. Personally I'm convident in the company and the direction it's going. The fundamentals are excellent. I expect the next piece of positive news will obliterate losses in the past couple of weeks and set us back on track.

There we go - delayed sell coming in a hour later at 422.5. Why someone would want to sell at that price given they could have got 500 a few weeks ago is beyond me.

Assume they were trading on margin and are getting killed on TERN or some such stock

No idea but yeah the price movements and trading volumes aren't in sync

The price action here is rally bizarre. I assume the MM's are taking stops

Twas only a guess. Small volumes as ever will move this hard one way or another. No update due until jan based on last year. Would be good to break that 3-4 months absence of news this year as part of improving their IR!

Why would he sell his shares? He doesn't need the money and he knows as well as the rest of the board how well the business is going.

It's just the vagueries of the stock market. Stocks go up, stocks go down, people switch from one company to another. It happens.

I'm not going to try and trade and in out. The spread is too wide to try that with any reasonable chance of success.

Maybe they are working out Steve Brown's (NED) shares? Who knows. Very little volume (as ever).

Well, things don't go up in straight lines and a pullback is necessary from time to time to shake out the weak holders.

All a bit surprised given the government has indicated spending is likely to start rising soon (or at worst the speed of decrease of the overspend is going to slow)

Pity to see the share price down this much off the back of a fantastic year. Great time to add though.

Not sure what you are referring to there dround87. You had me checking for an RNS but today's is only the resignation of a NED:

Further to post #851, NMD have the framework win for South West Water

It's hard to work out the value but it looks exciting to me.

Well the Severn Trent framework is worth £2.3 billion over 5 years....

Yorkshire is over a billion but having just checked won't be awarded until next year.

Buyers paying the full 530 now on a 50pt spread!

Ok fair point, but the shares have really motored in the last month, which makes me wonder about corporate rather than operational, but let's see..have a good evening....am still holding on for a tenner one day!
