24/9/2018 13:38 | And there's the reason for the increase in spread. A couple of large delayed trades. I have a feeling someone knows something here which isn't necessarily widely known. | cc2014
24/9/2018 12:40 | Good afternoon everyone. It seems to me the flow of buy orders continues to confuse the market-makers and have reacted by opening the spread even further. Winterfloods were happy enough making a market with a 20 point spread when the price was £4. It's been 40 of late and today they've moved it to 50pts. The buys keep coming though mopping up any sells which appear. Usually the MM's open the spread to discourage PI's so they can fill larger orders for the institutional investors. Fingers crossed | cc2014
19/9/2018 20:47 | From my explorations in crypto, where there really is no definable value on the commodity being traded, the one thing that's clear is that these made up numbers absolutely do mean something. That's going to be magnified when the movements are based on a few buyers/sellers. It'll happen though. The fundamentals point to excellent value. | dround87
19/9/2018 10:45 | A clear move above will be a turning point I think | dround87
19/9/2018 09:43 | I keep forgetting the price has risen so much here. I've been so used to looking at trades for 5000 when the price was down at 250, I look at a trade for 183 shares and think it's just MM playing about. Then I realise it's for £1000 and it matters. So, just a few more of those and we'll see the price move to 500 on the bid. which although meaningless as we've seen sells above that price is a kind of psychological barrier I'd like to see attained. | cc2014
18/9/2018 13:09 | great, haven't checked, but shares up again! | qs99
14/9/2018 15:37 | I got the dividend paid today | cc2014
14/9/2018 13:32 | Think you might be thinking of boot? | dround87
14/9/2018 10:42 | divi paid today? | qs99
13/9/2018 14:22 | May drift now until new news IMO...let's see...am holding on to mine... | qs99
13/9/2018 14:21 | Is the spread really 10? Had to double take! | dround87
12/9/2018 15:55 | It's tightened but definitely been some selling today. Oh well. It'll be up again by the weekend I reckon. I'd forgotten what red looks like with NMD written next to it. | dround87
12/9/2018 14:01 | Are they just dropping the bid? | qs99
12/9/2018 09:49 | Good point cc2014. Maybe it is a slow accumulation that is nudging NMD higher every week. Would be good to get more instis on board. As for £100m, no reason IMO it can't get there relatively soon. Why not put it on an EV/EBITDA ratio of nearer 7 or 8 for instance? Maybe even use its equity to buy smaller competitors and be acquisitive? All to play for IMO...DYOR | qs99
12/9/2018 08:49 | Yeah - whole sector is creeping up. I'm suspicious the smaller trades are some fund buying based on the average basket price of Kier, Galliford, Morgan Sindall etc. I could be wrong but I've been watching this for over a year and many of them seem to coincide with movements on the large construction companies (a year ago selling but more lately buying). Today for example GFRD is up 4.1% on a great set of results and hitting a high not seen for a while | cc2014
12/9/2018 08:29 | Slow daily creep upwards! | moneygenxyz
11/9/2018 14:42 | What's probably most interesting is that no-one is selling up here, which shows the level of conviction of those that do hold. The shares are all tied up with a fairly small number of shareholders who are fairly close to the numbers and know that in a few years it's going to be worth far more than this. This was part of my plan when I bought my shares. We've now reached a market cap of £50m. Whilst it will take some time to get to £100m, the institutions will start to want a part of the company when it gets there. That's when it gets interesting... | cc2014
11/9/2018 14:04 | If they actually "let it go" they may get more sellers to answer demand....! let's see | qs99
11/9/2018 12:27 | MM are desperate for stock. Really desperate. I assume we will see a delayed buy coming in later. They will let me sell 5000 shares at 502p. Better prices available for smaller amounts. buyers having to pay the full ask in at attempt to discourage them buying. I have to imagine that once the bid ticks up to 500 as a nice round number, some sellers will appear but who knows. | cc2014
11/9/2018 12:20 | Let them sell, that should help liquidity...! Tenner i may top slice....DYOR etc... | qs99
11/9/2018 12:12 | Boom! Reckon this could be a sell point for some but holding on tight. | dround87
10/9/2018 14:04 | happy days. | qs99
10/9/2018 13:57 | Yes looks likely it will burst through £5 | battlebus2
10/9/2018 13:52 | well at least the mid point is through! | qs99 |
