20/8/2019 17:12 | Good...NMC Healthcare IR team is organising investors roadshows and investors round tables with institutions in September in Europe, the US, Asia and MENA. Just got informed by my banker. I am sure that once large investors and Real Money accounts are back on their desks from their August holidays and once they hear NMC's case and plans and understand what has been happening to the stock, and the short attack - this will translate in large buy tickets. i would also think that existing LTH increase their stakes once hearing the update and opportunity that stock price represents at current levels. | alexka1
20/8/2019 16:49 | so...AQR increased their shorts again on 16th of august (and they had increased on 12th of august). So AQR was active every week/10 days since December than on a total halt end of June for over a month (which was unusual) and now they are back aggressively pre results and incerased tehir shorts unusually over the course of a few days. Clearly ahead of results and to keep stock low. | alexka1
20/8/2019 16:17 | NMC Health Analysts Are Staying Optimistic Even as Shares Slide 2019-08-19 04:00:00.4 GMT By Lisa Pham (Bloomberg) -- Analysts who have been sticking with NMC Health Plc are hoping the hospital operator’s first-half results this week will provide a boost to the shares, which have more than halved in value over the past year. NMC shares reached a record 4,120 pence in August last year and have drifted below 2,000 pence since then as bearish investors increased their short bets against the Abu Dhabi-based company. Analysts have generally stayed optimistic, and on average see the stock reaching 3,758 pence in the next 12 months. An in-line set of results for both earnings and free cash flow on Thursday “would be sufficient to drive outperformance in the shares given the recent weak sentiment,” Barclays analyst Hassan Al-Wakeel said in an Aug. 9 note. He’s one of 11 analysts with the equivalent of a buy rating on the stock. The stock has been hurt recently following a Muddy Waters tweet this month about a new short position that would be unveiled the following day, said Citi analyst Mathew Menezes. The target turned out to be Burford Capital Ltd., but the “knock-on effects of this severe move for Burford” could be hurting NMC as investors flee risk, Menezes wrote in an Aug. 7 note. Of the 12 analysts tracked by Bloomberg, Jefferies analyst James Vane-Tempest is the lone bear, having held an underperform recommendation since November. “1H results will be key to sentiment from here, especially the balance sheet and cash conversion rather than P&L highlights,” Vane-Tempest wrote in a July 9 note. Vane-Tempest has in the past highlighted accounting and corporate governance concerns, such as as rising receivables, insider ownership and management remuneration targets, for his underperform recommendation. | alexka1
20/8/2019 14:56 | Looks like the short sponsored pump and dump exercise fronted by the four stooges that appeared on this BB first thing this morning has failed miserably judging by the low volumes of trade. Need to try harder to acquire the volume of stocks needed to close out their positions. | aquaesulis01
20/8/2019 12:46 | Only 1 1/2 trading days to go until the results RNS and only way is up for LTHs | aquaesulis01
20/8/2019 10:44 | Absolutely.If a listing becomes an imposition rather than a benefit,then they'll delist. | steeplejack
20/8/2019 09:54 | Steeplejack, Agree every chance of a de-listing with this stock if the market fails to recognise its true value, after all more than half the shares are in the hands of three private investors rather than institutions | aquaesulis01
20/8/2019 08:52 | Well,as long as it's going up,I'll approve the recommendations of a barrel load of monkeys.I bought some these back last week and immediately saw the price drop a pound! This "no smoke without fire" syndrome that stalks publicly listed companies is a spur to delist. | steeplejack
20/8/2019 08:19 | Rightly said. Seems some of the new blogs are not factual ones and written with the intention of creating a fake interest in the stock. Be cautious on this script. The volatility in the stock and the underlying reasons are still not clear. | johnferro1
20/8/2019 08:00 | Purple, ignore them, four rampers all with newly created profiles | aquaesulis01
20/8/2019 07:32 | With a market cap of 3.9 B and a P/E ratio of 18.99, the company is a steal at current levels. With the results soon to be declared, expecting upward trend soon | joshk10989
20/8/2019 06:51 | Accumulated shares over the past few days. The company is fundamentally very strong with good management. Hope the results bring in the more good news. | dianac121210
20/8/2019 06:13 | The results are going to be out on 22nd. The company is very strong and has shown a sharp upward trend on the charts. Accumulate further at current levels, the HY results will further facilitate upward trend. | benjiv
20/8/2019 04:10 | what fantastic result? They are not out until the 22nd right? | purplepelmets
20/8/2019 03:44 | Fantastic results. I think this is the right time to get in. fundamentally and technically, the numbers look strong | christorres
19/8/2019 16:14 | Great rebound...It seems the right time to enter and dumping is not working... looking forward to the results! | jredd
19/8/2019 12:41 | well with decent growth to be announced in current set of results, it will indeed be interesting to see what the outlook is that goes with it. As the shareprice has dropped significantly this year and it now sits on an un-demanding p/e ratio I think there is upside to be had here ... | mister md
19/8/2019 12:04 | Totally agree. Its the forward looking statement that matters.Whether the company can assuage these deep seated concerns that afflict the price is questionable. That said,AQR's position is unhealthily large and when they wish to close out,the short squeeze could be pronounced.Yet,it's a strange stock to short without something very tangible to get your teeth into. This isn't an AIM stock like Burford where things are a tad murky, everything's pretty transparent on the face of it. | steeplejack
19/8/2019 11:17 | Results are always for past work done . But share price is for future. So i dont belive results are relevant. Whatever management had to say has been said. | smartinvest1
19/8/2019 10:16 | No it’s not the shorts it’s just day traders. | moneypenny2018
19/8/2019 09:41 | Shorters playing with their own borrowed shares looking at the low volume; tick tock tick tock less than three trading days until judgement day! | aquaesulis01
19/8/2019 09:38 | Down 2.2% now. I'm already in at 2589 BEP. Not sure if now's the time to double up my holding at current price of 1810p or just hold but not put another penny in this stock......Would be nice to claw back some of the nasty losses I've made | terrysmith1
19/8/2019 09:21 | opened nicely up, then sharp pullback in contrast to wider market - odd, shorters still active it seems | mister md
19/8/2019 09:15 | Something analogous to "shark infested waters" comes to mind when you track NMCs share price gyrations. | steeplejack
17/8/2019 21:45 | Fingers crossed. Earnestly believe that the HY numbers will move the share price up and will be a fitting reply to AQR and the likes. Great to see NMC Health beating the guidance every time. Kudos to the super management team. | mohdusman44 |
