02/9/2019 16:17 | Is the fosun bid real? It came just one day before nmc's result announcement. It's more than 10 days, neither NMC or Fosun has any comments on the same. Looks like another fake news. | bmurray1
02/9/2019 14:01 | Thin volume, US closed. Prob a big buyer in morning led to big spike then some profit taking and sellers and now recovering. I think its worth an add at current levels. September shld be a very good month hopefully. We shld have more updates i guess on stock purchase, on potential bids, roadshow/new investors buying post august, and once again price shld be supported by the massive amount of existing shorts. My target is 27-28 within 2 weeks and above 30 within next 4 and 35 in next 3 months. | alexka1

31/8/2019 12:32 | We are seeing strong upward momentum at the moment although chart showing significant resistance around this level. Next week should be interesting. RM | rampmeister
31/8/2019 10:11 | I see market revival. The stock prices have further increased since yesterday. Good time to accumulate the shares and hold. | samfer2607
30/8/2019 20:43 | No smoke without a fire. I believe bidders will come in again with much better offer with £ so weak.if share price breaks through £25 , we should see £30 in september. | karateboy
30/8/2019 16:27 | @Alexka1, thanks for the detailed review. I was almost on the verge of dumping the stock before it's results announcement. Your comments were one which influenced me to hold on to my position and infant I added another 12k shares. Even now, I in red, but looks like I will be in profit zone by YE. You seems to have a great insight into the company as can be made out from your comments. Thanks once again. | mohdusman44
30/8/2019 15:13 | September will probably be the best time to buyback shares or hold the shares. The short sellers have stopped attacking and the results are positive since yesterday. | carltonfernandes
30/8/2019 15:04 | Thanks for the info Alex. I am starting to sleep better at night now that the share price is rising again and my losses are almost negated.Still need to be 2589 to draw even but much happier now! | terrysmith1
30/8/2019 14:10 | Very comprehensive, cheers | gareth004
30/8/2019 12:54 | ...and not forgetting imminent announcement of buyback programme RM | rampmeister
30/8/2019 12:22 | No news. its expected, right. short interest is at its highest ever. you would assume the shorts sellers shorted the size they needed and stock is now recovering post strong results and news. Having so much shorts will support price as they will close slowly slowly. No reasons for the shorts to remain. and in September expect more institutional buyers coming in. this week SocGen, BoA/ML, Barclays, Citi, JPM all reiterated their strong buy and published a research thats positive, all seeing stock between 39 (lowest target) and 43 (highest target) by May 2020. So obviously this will drive some buyers to come in. I expect other banks like GS and HSBC to re publish a research note soon and will probably reiterate their target of 42+. A lot of ppl were on the sidelines during the downtrend and volatile times and were waiting for more clarity and results, we have that now, so would expect buyers to come in. Its still very cheap at 25. We wont have any other catalysts, except if any update on the bidders (so far no update so you would assume in negotiation, whether iot goes through or not doesn't matter much, both scenario are positives, one more than the other obviously but both positive) and on Capital Mkt Day in October. and maybe a guidance update in november. Probably by end of september we will see more institutionals coming in, these are LTH and have a LT view so its looks cheap, assuming a target of 35-40 in 2020. And september will provide more liquidity than august so interesting time for buyers, especially when all other stocks are overvalued and talks of looming recession in the western world. | alexka1

30/8/2019 08:57 | Any update on the fosun buyout of 40% shareholding from controlling shareholders? Any clues on the buy back program announced? | mohdusman44
29/8/2019 15:52 | A takeover by IHH can't be ruled out or a merger with its next biggest rival, VPS Healthcare or Aster Group also is a possibility. The current market conditions in its biggest home market, United Arab Emirates, definitely warrants this. The market is getting shrunk on account of the exodus of expat population. Nmc has withered the adverse effect of these to a certain extent thru higher and value added services. But it has it's own constraints in a slowing market. 2019 and 2020 will an interesting phase for NMC. | mohdusman44
