30/7/2014 16:20 | If major investors have put £1m recently, they must have some idea of the progress of talks and a great bit of confidence in getting their investment back and more..imo. So now they need to raise upto £16m as per AGM the plans...think it does suggest the 2 deals may be most probably very near fruition and maybe finalised soon after the AGM. Indeed, we may see the fund raising announced soon after the AGM so they can start executing the plans...using my rose coloured glasses being an optimist ;o)). Whatever pans out...here is hoping it's positive for NGP and we get a chance to recover the losses here no doubt all of us had written off ! Sirra | sirraman
30/7/2014 14:16 | I wonder how long after the AGM we will hear if either prospect or both is going ahead | welsh2
30/7/2014 13:15 | Curry -- we stitched ourselves up piling into the placing following big mouth / '' big oil '' prefer not mention the name again -- tia :) | westmoreland lad
30/7/2014 12:55 | LOL! yeah still makes me think WTF! however, since Chris Theis has taken over I've seen steady and clear progress. obviously there is one hurdle remaining and that is raising the money post the agm next friday... i feel Theis will make that happen - if he does, we're in a strong position again to relist. stronger than when we all bought into this in the first place! GLTA! | the_curmudgeon
30/7/2014 12:52 | westie, are you saying McKeon has stitched us up ? | currypasty
30/7/2014 12:36 | Cheers Curm. Steel mailed me the link so pasted it up without reading back. Kicked my £21k into touch here after all your WTFs last October lol --------- ''1) 18m lent to Oman (controlled by McKeon while McKeon was working as a contractor for Niche) - WTF?? 2) Oman default on loan - WTF?? 3) No visible attempt by Niche to get that money back - WTF?? 3) San Leon buy Alpay - WTF?? 4) San Leon sell Irish interests to Ardilaun - WTF?? 5) Transpires Ardaulin is controlled by the McKeon family - WTFx2?? GL all -- might get some of our dough back. | westmoreland lad
30/7/2014 11:56 | as far as i know the SLE/Alpay deal fell through months ago | the_curmudgeon
30/7/2014 11:40 | SLE investment to date in Turkey as part of their due diligence is no longer relevant?? | welsh2
30/7/2014 11:31 | Welsh2 - San Leon out of the picture as far as i know. All about turkey and italy with Sound Oil | the_curmudgeon
30/7/2014 11:31 | yep - that's what we're discussing westie... ;-) | the_curmudgeon
30/7/2014 11:30 | What about San Leon and farm ins to Turkey - | welsh2
30/7/2014 10:48 | And delivering on these 'plans' has not been exactly exemplary. Positive outlook, but that's all it is until they have raised the funds ! AGM to make the shares available on the 8th August.... have they a pre commitment from II's for investment or is it a finger in the air stuff ? Will know in a couple of weeks hopefully ! 30/7/2014 10:38 | Based upon what has gone on before it's not champagne that they deserve | acta_topup
30/7/2014 09:53 | Th Cur...would be good if the placing was much higher. Looking at the DS broker note of July 2011...the 5% of ARA was valued at 1.1p so 85% would be valued at least 7-8p. So you may be right the placing could be much higher and especially if NGP also gets the Italian deal/farm in then the future looks bright and re-listing may be quicker than end of year...and us long suffering investors here may be able to get their money back. Must give the Directors here due credit for surviving and getting NGP this far and if the deals are completed and we get relisted...then they deserve a few bottles of champagne from all of us :o)) Sirra | sirraman
29/7/2014 22:15 | sirraman - I would say the next rounds will be higher than 1p. 1p was at a crisis time and those investors had the balls to put 1 million in at 1p. they will be rewarded for the risk they took and the faith they had in Chris Theis. I would imagine the next rounds will be 2-3p. | the_curmudgeon
29/7/2014 18:17 | Hopefully this is the last throw of the dice and this finally makes a comeback of sorts as Fed up with it. Too many cowboys involved between mckeown, fanning and allay. Seems like theis has taken it upon himself to sort out mess and hopefully we all get something back on this. Deal looks what we had hoped for all along with some diversification in the Italian assets but whether there is any value in the Turkish assets is another thing | smithy156
29/7/2014 16:50 | Two deals in play subject to due diligence : 1) farm down of Sound Oil's onshore Carita licence in the Po Valley, Northern Italy - The Carita licence area includes the Nervesa discovery. Under the Heads of Terms, Niche will acquire, subject to completion of due diligence, a 27.5% interest in the Carita licence in exchange for paying 100% of the costs of a second well to address the southern part of the structure, planned for Q3/Q4 2014. Following the farm out, Sound Oil will continue to hold a 72.5% interest in the Carita licence. 2) increasing Alpay /ARAR 5% holding to 85% with planned work by end of 2014 to generate income from producing or near-producing assets Either require fund raise..the last placing was of £1m @ 1p...so assume any further equity will be raised at this level...to avoid diluting the existing shareholders...imo If one or both of these come off then NGP will be in business and may be able to re-list by end of this year at the latest..imo.. At least this is not yet dead...so good luck to all long suffering shareholders here..keep everything crossed..;o) Sirra | sirraman

29/7/2014 16:35 | atlantic: "It will also take us one step closer to the Group's return to the London Stock Exchange's AIM later this year" | the_curmudgeon
29/7/2014 16:28 | Atlantic. Later this year, it's in the release | the_curmudgeon
29/7/2014 16:23 | Is there any prospect of niche relisting and if there is what is the time frame please. Sorry if this has been covered before. | atlantic57 |
