05/6/2008 08:58 | MC hi I have always posted in the best faith - unfortunately like you say over time situations change ... sometimes making the original post seem mistaken/wrong - but I assure you that at the time I post a comment it is relevant and true... Like I said before - at this moment in time I strongly believe the contract mentioned in the 17/01 RNS is dead (if they manage to replace it with another in time then all well and good) and there will be a cash call... IMHO. | graham142

05/6/2008 08:36 | MC How can u possibly know that no one here knows? Or do you know something that we don't know? : ) | bengo
05/6/2008 08:17 | The comment was general. I meant no one here knows. I read and take great interest in what you say. However you were adamant a few months back the contract would be signed shortly. Indeed this was the main thrust of your dispute with ex88. Things have moved on and you are now taking the same view as him. This is quite understandable given the length of time that has passed since the 17/01 statement. But VOIP is a fast moving industry a 101 different things could have happened to NNG since the 17/01 statement WE just don't know. The fact that a leading European OEM has taken a shine to NNG's equipment bodes well for the future. As for a placing, that may have been the plan a month or so ago who says its still the same plan today. That may have gone up in smoke like the contract. But all will be revealed soon. | mercier et camier

05/6/2008 08:09 | MC hi Your last post - No one knows Some one MUST know for it to be happening... | graham142
05/6/2008 01:09 | The initial big contract could have come and gone but the company could easily be negotiating another or even concluding several others. Such is the pace of the VOIP market today. No one knows. | mercier et camier
04/6/2008 15:30 | There is also the possibility that the *operator* contract is being done *through* NSN. It could be (for example) that a given customer wanted to get NNG's boxes, but would only purchase through a larger system integrator. Thus technically the contract might not have been "lost" but been reclassified as NSN's contract with flow-through OEM sales revenue to NNG. Or the same thing could have occurred with another NEV or integrator. This would then make it true that NNG was getting revenue & shipments... but would almost certainly make it much more difficult to release details without agreement of all concerned. | slightlycynical
04/6/2008 14:12 | fwck, for the sake of £100 they could delay the accounts to Sept! aaah well, that's the family holiday to Tenby knacked then.. Graham, if you're still there, this umbrella tax thing - it's only good for £300k though isn't it? from memory... | wolterix
04/6/2008 13:58 | Ha! wait till I show my accountant that for an excuse . | wig123
04/6/2008 13:57 | Wolterix, I know it is mate, I have bundles in here and am as anxious as the next person. | wig123
04/6/2008 13:56 | maybe not! | wolterix
04/6/2008 13:55 | er I think it's a bit more serious than £100 ! | wolterix
04/6/2008 13:54 | Just because the deadline has been missed doesnt mean the contract is a goner. Visual Defence announced they expected to complete a mega contract and gave a deadline of 2 months. The 2 months came and went. They then released their results and never even mentioned the contract. Then about 6 months late the contract was announced. These things usually take longer than expected to finalise. | hugepants
04/6/2008 13:49 | Not only that, but I imagine there must be some tax advantage in bringing out accounts as late as possible. i know I leave mine till the last minute, even if I do get my £100 penalties. | wig123
04/6/2008 13:36 | 6 months isn't that long when you're running a company... you've already got your eye on December by June anyway, if that makes sense, cautious low div in July, clover in Dec etc, O did we really make 30% profit etc? | wolterix
04/6/2008 13:31 | graham, it doesn't work like that, contracts completed on time etc, it's not that nice and neat | wolterix
04/6/2008 13:29 | who knows? I bought last year at 4p (averaged down when they were at their low in Feb or whatever), but someone said in an earlier post that Telecoms and such companies are a bit thin on 'communication' maybe there are shareholders and then there are 'shareholders', at the same time I've seen such letters from people say at HML, but then they get accused of sending out 'begging letters', and then there is TAN again accused of misleading the market maybe these things are best left to the AGM, maybe they're busy, maybe they're lazy, when I was in a company we always left things to the last minute as well though you've said yourself also that they're ND agreements anyhow, I've also heard from other companies that they wouldn't make any announcements until the 'trucks are actually leaving the building' and again, I'm sure the NEV would demand to see the accounts before any deal struck, as other people have said here before soz, more smoke and mirrors | wolterix
04/6/2008 13:28 | wig - they said it would be concluded within about a month - how long ago was that?... In fact if you read the RNS the interpretation in my mind was the major contract was going to be completed BEFORE the nev1... | graham142
04/6/2008 13:25 | graham142, no disrespect, but show me the proof the contract isnt safe. You either believe what the company stated in the last RNS or you dont, if I didnt believe in a company (or its management)I sure as hell wouldnt have my money in it. | wig123
04/6/2008 13:20 | wolterix hi Here's a thought... A lot of people didn't invest in NNG untill after the announcement of the first part of the 17/01 RNS on the basis that their was to be a major revenue earning contract which would see the company financially secure untill the nev1 company started to place significant orders (mainly in 2009). Why doesn't the company reassure it's investors that the position regarding the major contract is still safe... would not compromise price sensitive issues as it would only be confirmation of an already stated fact... I beleive we have been let down here and yet no-one at all has yet proven me wrong - untill they do I will continue to beleive there is no longer a contract to see them through - and that is why I also think a cash call will be made.. Somebody somewhere tell me that the contract is still safe - but prove it... | graham142
04/6/2008 13:05 | That was tongue in cheek.... I am not wrong really... :-) | graham142
04/6/2008 13:04 | I could be wrong though... that's what I mean sit tight and enjoy the risky ride of an illiquid AIM stock! | wolterix
04/6/2008 12:51 | wolterix hi I am not as you say doom and gloom... I call it realistic.. As far as selling I have already mentioned that I have topsliced... This still leaaves me .... a hell of a lot and my posts are meant to open discussion about the company as much of what is being said is tosh... I would rather people be realistic and not buy on the inacurate hype proclaimed by others who are purely speculating because when the news does come out it will do far more harm if it has been falsely ramped... I could be wrong though... | graham142
04/6/2008 12:08 | Graham if you're so gloom and doom about it, just sell | wolterix |
