15/12/2009 14:25 | Largest volume today in 6 weeks - since the RNS | ihavenoclue
15/12/2009 14:07 | Can buy at 12.50 but that still makes investors take a big hit on the spread with the bid at 10.5p. With the spread and the declining price it is putting off investors... | fairdeal2008
15/12/2009 14:04 | ihnc :..... Yes , your post is totally correct . (I think that they have probably been far too cavalier and laid back about the real value , and perhaps just `Tinkered` with the idea of an outright sale for too long . Just too `Comfortable` .) * Last `Stated ` cash position was I think £7 Milllion . * 31,536,697 ordinary shares in issue . * Dr Mike Hudson 1 3,940,000 12.49% Dr Mike Snape 3,440,000 10.91% Scottish Widows Investment Partnership Limited 3,033,062 9.62% Schroder Investment Management Limited 2,900,000 9.20% Cazenove Capital Management Limited 2,673,538 8.48% Professor Sir Chris T Evans 2,458,111 7.79% Mount Sinai School of Medicine 1,480,000 4.69% Barclayshare Nominees Limited 1,306,363 4.14% I can see about 27% of that group pushing to sort out an appropiate settlement . Plus , PI`s will need to be persuaded . Not sure which side some 31% of the above see their bread buttered . (There will inevitably be `Issues` surrounding Contracts , Pensions , and redundancies .) .....So , What`s the Technology REALLY worth ? | boobly
15/12/2009 13:38 | Boobly ... they have not been saying they are in discussions since March to sell the company. They said in March they were approached but did not feel it was in the best interests of the company and then looked into a JV which was terminated in September. Only in November, after looking at the situation, did they re-open negotiations but I would say more based on selling it now. Regards IHNC | ihavenoclue
15/12/2009 13:35 | HugePants ... I do not think the offers will be around cash ... I think they have been higher but the NPH board have rejected them. Do the directors hold any shares ? I can't find any info if they do. | ihavenoclue
15/12/2009 13:31 | The worst thing is the more we fall the more likely the potential buyer/buyers are going to negotiate a lower price... hate seeing us at these levels... | mike_f
15/12/2009 13:20 | They have cut costs but is annual cash burn still around £4M now? I think the bids so far must have been too low. Maybe they have been at around cash per share and NPH have dismissed these as out of hand. But I dont think they are in a strong negotiating position. | hugepants
15/12/2009 11:29 | 08 December 2009 " Neuropharm Group Plc Continuing Discussions Neuropharm Group plc (AIM: NPH), a speciality pharmaceutical company focused on neurodevelopmental disorders, today provides an update to shareholders on developments in relation to the proposed sale or merger of the Company, as announced on 3 November 2009. Since the announcement, the Company has progressed discussions with an expanded number of third parties. Although discussions are at an early stage, the Board of Neuropharm continues to believe that shareholder value is more likely to be maximised through seeking a sale or merger partner which will be better placed to fund the Company's clinical development portfolio. A further update will be provided to shareholders in due course. " It seems to me that the market is view : `You`ve been saying this since March...Hurry up `. The view of some shareholders is : `You`ve been saying this since March...I can`t be bothered waiting any longer`. My view : `We have no option but to wait`. There has been very little volume selling , but , NO support from their advisers , ergo NO buying . (I suspect , that`s what they wanted , a soaring share price would be counter productive to achieving an appropriate sale price .) ....Having said that ....very disappointed :>( Anyone got an up to date view on their cash balance ? | boobly
15/12/2009 10:33 | Morning all well I have lost the will to live????????? I now have two choices sell the lot and try and make up the loses or add on the hope a deal is done and this gets back above 30p?????? | quinan
15/12/2009 10:24 | Oh I give up ... this is costing me £100 a point now but I refuse to close at such a low and the contract is on till March | ihavenoclue
14/12/2009 18:17 | PJ are increasing their long | ihavenoclue

14/12/2009 13:49 | I have sent mails and called but nothing back from BOD :(( | joeblogg2
14/12/2009 13:43 | This is getting depressing... please put us out of our misery NPH! | mike_f
14/12/2009 13:14 | Oh Look ! PIP`s are building a stake ..... More like a match stick !!! | boobly
14/12/2009 12:00 | 56% down on this bad boy now and no funds to make a significant dent in my average... | pelleeds1980
14/12/2009 08:45 | Oh this is looking chronic now ... Boobly ... any short would have to be disclosed | ihavenoclue
12/12/2009 16:57 | borchardt :.....Agreed . Neat post ! Now if I were a cynical kind of person I could also imagine that it `Might` just be in the interests of any potential predator to put a weeeeneee bit of pressure on the price with a teeeeneee weeeeeneee shorteee ;>) (A little incomprehensible to think that long term holders would have reduced their positions at less than 20p after the Bid talks RNS .) | boobly
12/12/2009 16:39 | The fact that there are only 2 market makers working this stock is causing a negative impact on share price. Any sells increase pressure on market makers to move price down because they down want to take on too much stock.- Market makers do not like taking too much risk. New buyers are limited because stock is a bid situation and a drifting share price on a bid situation stock never looks appealing. Current price given prospects and cash position is far too low and although I expect company to be taken out at a decent premium to current price I think bidder(s) will take advantage of current price weakness and not pay what we are actually worth. | borchardt
11/12/2009 22:29 | There seems to be NO support in the price ... mind you now that PJ has bought, instead of shorted, it can't get much lower, can it ? | ihavenoclue
11/12/2009 12:57 | I see PIP are `mopping up` and now have at 11,6210 , .04% . .....but that`s all I see ! It`s incredible to think that this was about £1.40 a year ago . I hope the big shareholders are increasing the pressure on management to get this resolved as soon as possible and not allowing them to drag this out any longer than is absolutely necessary . | boobly
11/12/2009 09:07 | I at a complete loss, not just sanity but cash as well!! Indicative talks off in March and possible re-opened in Nov. | joeblogg2
11/12/2009 08:49 | I thought I heard somewhere that this company was in talks with a number of parties that could lead to a takeover. Did I hear wrongly? | the_beagle |
