16/11/2009 13:53 | At least someone is seeing the value at these levels... buy on plus of 27k GLA | mike_f
16/11/2009 12:59 | Boobly, totally agree, can't believe we are still seeing the odd sell go through... under a month to wait and we must get close to 30p absolute bottom IMHO, would like to see closer to 40p though. GLA | mike_f
16/11/2009 12:54 | Boobly - you mean they are going to sell the management?? | opportunitystocks2009
16/11/2009 12:50 | Well , they just can`t go on like this , and have given a 9th December deadline . I`m sure the business will be sold / broken up this year . I suspect that somebody will take this out at a small premium to cash , perhaps 25p , but , if there is a bit more interest in their tech perhaps a bit of horse trading , perhaps nearer 30p . Hopefully I`m proven far too pessimistic , but absolutely no point in selling at these prices under these conditions . | boobly
16/11/2009 12:39 | Management here imho made a basic error of judgement going down the exclusivity route too quickly. They should have let the competitive elements run the show for a while to force a deal out. As it is they have weakended the company considerably. But it is no way worth less than cash. Quite ridiculous. Just as with NVR it is no way worth just over cash, they have leading edge environmental technology just as NPH has some fascinating drugs that could be worth a fortune in an underserved area of medicine. imho | opportunitystocks2009
16/11/2009 12:35 | Agreed . What on earth have they been doing since march ? Who were these people ? What did they see of value ? Why did they disappear ? Who are NPH talking to ? What is their true strategy ? " RNS Number : 5427P Neuropharm Group PLC 26 March 2009 Neuropharm Group Plc ("Neuropharm" or "the Company") Share Price Movement Neuropharm Group plc (AIM: NPH), a specialty pharmaceutical company focused on developmental disorders, notes the existence of market rumour and the recent movement in its share price. The Company confirms that it received an indicative indication of interest with respect to a possible M&A transaction from a third party and that this interest is not being pursued. It further confirms that it is not currently in M&A discussions and is not aware of any specific reason for the share price movement. As detailed in the Company's half-year report for the six months ended 31 December 2008, announced on 17 March 2009, the Company had cash, cash equivalents and money market investments of GBP10.2 million at 31 December 2008. As noted in the joint statement from the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, the Company is undertaking a detailed analysis and review of the future strategic alternatives for its lead programme NPL-2008 and for the Company, including the possibility of partnering NPL-2008 with a much larger pharmaceutical company. " .....You could go on and on asking questions , and I guess that is why the market is also questioning value here . My concern is that management have been ineffective as `Managers` , and yet they desperately want to hold onto their lucrative jobs . Anyone got an updated breakdown of the share register ? | boobly
16/11/2009 12:22 | Yep the market is taking a very dim view on many stocks at the mo. You could say we have entered the bargain season once more. Several months back stocks seemed to be on the up, but recently they have dropped back down to the same level. Could this mean we will see another surge in the coming weeks, as speculation once more takes over? I still find it hard to justify a market cap now £1.5mln below cash level ok cash burn will have to be taken into consideration but even so are they really saying NPH has nothing to offer?? I find that hard to believe. | quinan
16/11/2009 11:53 | I suspect the market is assessing the likelihood of a decent deal with management's public performance in recent months as demonstrated by the rns flow (what there is of it). Its frustrating, people have little confidence, but it will be what it will be etc. Another in 'the stable' that has been pummelled and looks like it could be on the turn from an unfairly oversold position: | opportunitystocks2009
16/11/2009 08:19 | Still very depressing to watch this of late... still have my holding and just about got my faith still... would feel alot better if we were sitting around the 25p mark though... lets hope and pray we get about 30p guys... we deserve that for our patience shorly! GLA | mike_f
15/11/2009 22:04 | Oh ok Boobly ... fair enough but what a way to do it .. it remains to be seen if that is what they are doing. Currently it seems the market does not believe the bid will materialise. | ihavenoclue

13/11/2009 13:26 | I think it's just outragous that PJ are shorting whilst having dealings with the company. I smell a very big rat | g2am
13/11/2009 12:44 | LOL ! 16p to Sell ! Why would PIP` lob out 550 odd shares ? Seems to me that since their appointment they have been determined to control the share price and supress ANY trade in the stock . (Anyone tried to buy a reasonable quantity ? I think you would find it impossible .) Holders wont sell , potential buyers look at the history and the chart and run a mile ! I`m hoping they are actually doing us all a favour here ....but I don`t like this sort of perceived `Sharp Practice` . | boobly
13/11/2009 12:19 | now down 1.5 :(( There is just no transparency. Crooks the lot of them!!! | joeblogg2
13/11/2009 09:35 | Arc :....Totally correct , but I think you missed one little point ; the clock`s ticking , and we WILL have some clarification from the Company on 9th Dec , if not before .....unfortunately after months of waiting , three weeks seems months away ;>) Good luck to everyone in the waiting room ! | boobly
13/11/2009 09:14 | We're still here. Light's still on! Nothing changed, it's just the timescales and lack of solid news that is causing the share price to drift. Also I imagine those who got in at the two recent peaks may have bailed and cut their losses perhaps thinking they won't see 35-40p again. I certainly wouldn't bet against seeing that level again and for those interested in a quicker profit now is obviously the time to be in IMHO. This was bid up to the early 40s on no specific news but in a period where we were potentially going to enter into a JV. If that had of happened (and it still could) we would still have to wait 18months to 2 years for real action. If there is a outright TO then then profit here could be in the bank by xmas. As has been said many times, at this share price the company is being valued at nothing which is ridiculous. We are still 20% or so up from the announcement it seems that no one has a clue how to value this. When the initial offer price comes in they will though! DYOR | arc2006
13/11/2009 09:06 | ihave. you are not alone. Just fed up with the management and piper!!! | joeblogg2

12/11/2009 12:57 | NPH yet to reply ... imagine that | ihavenoclue |
