09/10/2009 15:05 | They've knocked the hell out of these for sure. I will have to find some money somewhere but at the moment my builder has first claim. 20p offered! | the_beagle
09/10/2009 08:25 | Trust Chronic investors to always get the sell right. right on support that is. | luckyvince
09/10/2009 08:20 | They must be joking. Why didn't they say sell at 35p. Nothing has changed much since then. Typical I C. | the_beagle
09/10/2009 07:43 | Investors Chronicle today says: * Sell Proteome Sciences -- Vyke Communications -- Neuropharm Group. | pork belly
07/10/2009 22:46 | Evening Guys , haven`t been able to follow this recently , but , Very disappointed in the share price collapse . it would seem that this really is the floor , ( I hope so ) and I remain quietly confident that this will surprise , just when you are least expecting a surprise ! If it does ,you simply will not be able to buy in on the spike . I`m sure there must be something exciting going on in the background , We`ve been stung by the short term traders , but we wont be hurting as much as they are ! | boobly
07/10/2009 22:02 | the_beagle ... sorry , you are correct ... just moved it round a bit. Seems to have strengthened the share price a bit now they have finished. | ihavenoclue
07/10/2009 12:06 | I don't think so. As I see it they have just moved the stakes around internally. If they have dumped then that would explain much of the recent fall, but I don't think that is the case. | the_beagle
07/10/2009 11:49 | Lloyds have been dumping/reducing then ? | ihavenoclue
06/10/2009 20:50 | Quin ... I have given up moving from share to share as I always seem to get screwed at the moment | ihavenoclue
06/10/2009 17:16 | LOL ihave have a look at LGNG £155mln worth of contracts market cap of around £9mln margins around 20% | quinan
06/10/2009 16:10 | Well I did something today and almost immediately regretted it. I opened a spread bet with the spread being a bit on the large side. March 09 contract to buy at 24.35p and with a sell price of 19p I am immediately £540 down - what a plonker. | ihavenoclue
06/10/2009 12:19 | Fair the negotiations have not terminated they had been initial terminated this bit form results NPL-2008 is on hold as we continue in partnering discussions | quinan
06/10/2009 12:16 | IMHO what we have now is the investor in NPH and the trader in NPH, to the investor the results outline what the prospects are in the long term, the company is progressing well and will expect to generate revenue within 18 months. To the trader the recent news gives them nothing to get over excited about in the short term, more news may not be out until Christmas, so the chances of anything dramatic happening to the share price in the sort term is minimal. So were do we go from here, I think we are now going to trade in the range of 20-25p until more news, the transfer of shares form the traders to the investors will happen now so a more stable share price will being to take shape. This has a good future but will need time. | quinan
06/10/2009 12:02 | IHNC - personally I thought my comments were rather upbeat. The company sprung on investors the fact that major commercial negotiations had terminated - what price reaction do you expect...?? As for are they good value - well possibly, but I suspect that have a little more to pullback before they start to move north again. Blimey | fairdeal2008
06/10/2009 11:57 | I was 41% up last week and now I am 17% but I am not reducing .. hell no. I feel this is an over reaction and I won't be shaken out. fairdeal .. you say ... "Right now the share is not hugely overvalued, but there needs to be a little more time to get disgruntled holders out." Market Cap £6.78m ... Cash £7m ... It wasn't "hugely overvalued" before and it certainly isn't now for all it's compounds currently worth NOTHING. fair ... someone had a bad day at the NPH office and you threw your toys out of the pram. Do I have to set up a new NPH thread if you are going to start trashing NPH now ? Regards IHNC | ihavenoclue
06/10/2009 09:26 | Morning all any one looked at LGNG? | quinan
06/10/2009 08:01 | I got a solid slating for my comments a couple of weeks ago about NPH newsflow and attitude toward investors. Seems with hindsight I was right to be worried. I have reduced my position here considerably over the last couple of weeks. Right now the share is not hugely overvalued, but there needs to be a little more time to get disgruntled holders out. The stunning news seems to have passed us by for now...I expect further NPL 2008 rns will be less exciting than they could have been... | fairdeal2008
05/10/2009 20:20 | I think I would like to re-evaluate my christmas guesstime to less than half of what I thought a few months ago | ihavenoclue
05/10/2009 12:15 | Nice to see a little blue, i feel that we have touched the bottom of the retrace now, we are only just above cash at current share price Look forward to a minor recovery in share price this week. GLA | mike_f
05/10/2009 10:35 | If this is true - then why all the worries? :- "other discussions are ongoing in respect of a collaboration on NPL-2008. An update to shareholders on these discussions will be provided at the appropriate time." | geng
05/10/2009 08:09 | Morning Quinan, yes totally agree. I wonder in this recent RNS whether they could have revisited their May RNS and said something more direct like; following considerable interest in NPL-2008 from a number of parties we have decided to cease negotiations with the North American company. I'm having a little chuckle because I guess I'm asking a bit too much with that. It's a 'wouldn't it be nice' shareholders point of view and I guess we don't know how many of those original interested parties are still interested and of course, under what terms. | luckyvince
05/10/2009 06:35 | Morning all, cheers lucky for that e-mail, how do we read that I might be inclined to say NPH had a much better offer for the licence deal of NPL2008 hence the termination of the first collaboration. NPH are still in negotiations but the north American company wants a bigger stake?? But this line from 28th of may indicates there was a lot of interest, NPH may have been able to choice the right one? "following considerable interest in NPL-2008 from a number of parties" Also for the statement on the 26th of March they state "The Company confirms that it received an indicative indication of interest with respect to a possible M&A transaction from a third party and that this interest is not being pursued. It further confirms that it is not currently in M&A discussions and is not aware of any specific reason for the share price movement. So was this what we already new regarding the termination of this deal? They clearly stated back in March they had already received indication of interest from a third party, but it would appear this company wanted to much of the pie with a M&A, clearly NPH have much more to offer and don't want to sell out cheaply?? | quinan
04/10/2009 15:12 | Guys, thought I would email the company regarding the North American deal and this is the reply. Dear Vincent, Thank you for your enquiry to Neuropharm following the company's full year results announcement. In way of background, I have responsibility for Neuropharm's investor relations and it is a pleasure to get back to you. In answer to your question on whether it is possible to expand on when and why the exclusive negotiations were terminated then unfortunately it is not, owing to the high level of confidentiality associated with such discussions. Whilst it is not possible to provide further details on the discussions that were terminated, other discussions are ongoing in respect of a collaboration on NPL-2008. An update to shareholders on these discussions will be provided at the appropriate time. Please do not hesitate to get in touch with any other enquiries. Kind regards, Mark Mark Court Partner Buchanan Communications | luckyvince
04/10/2009 13:00 | Share had risen on hope of early jv news with some hot money which departed pretty quickly on lack of news. With only 2 mkt makers the share price will be volatile - Even on results day mkt makers were initially confused with one marking price up and the other marking it down. I suppose share price should recover somewhat leading up to next news but wil probably be held back by sellers at each new level. Happy to hold in anticipation of news. | borchardt
04/10/2009 12:44 | mmm....Despite an encouraging statement , a truly disappointing market reaction . Management will need to provide much greater clarity on partnering , progress and expectations to get the share price motoring . I hope they can name the JV details as promised this Autumn . | boobly |
