not too sure beagle, doesn't seem to amazingly fantastic to keep taking us upwards as many were awaiting a signed jv to push us up higher.

£5 million for further study which we can't finance - not good, all negotiating power with any potential partner. Disappointing to not get more of a positive update on talks. Bottom drawer for a little longer!

Mike ... I wouldn't build it up if I were you or you may be disappointed. We "may" get JV news tomorrow but more than likely not. If we do then great, if not then roll on news.

Thanks Arc - perhaps Viagra will work where Prozac didn't!!

Interesting that they felt the need to announce that, implying that they (one of the biggest pharma companies in the world) didn't have any research programs into autism before now. I'm fairly new to neuroscience companies, but it seems there has been very little research, across the board, into the treatment of autism, and the condition does seem to be becoming more prevalent. Hopefully, we can be part of a solution for this. Happy to back the company on these grounds alone (but will be even happier if I get an R8 into the bargain!).

Good luck for tomorrow everyone - see you bright and early!

Hi Lombiff. I think we'd fill a gap for a lot of them.

Arc - there's a link to an article on Wyeth's website announcing that an antidepressant (2008=Prozac) was ineffective as a treatment against repetitive behaviour in autism. I'm not a registered healthcare professional so can't see the full article, but they announced this in June. I wonder if this was their own trial, or if they had been tracking the SOFIA trial and were reporting on that.

Wyeth/Pfizer have a big neuroscience team but they seem to be focussed on MS, Alzheimers, anxiety disorder etc.

Just a thought . . . would we fill a gap for them?

Q - that's exactly what happened at Tadpole . . . and Gladstone . . . and Cedar . . and GTL, oh, and EVS. I still shudder when I type those names, but it will be different this time. This time next year, Rodney . . .

Well it look like the MM's tried but failed to fool punters out of their stock the shake first thing was to get nerves rattling, but most I feel want to be in rather than out at this stage. Any sort of positive announcement should have a dramatic impact on the share price

Mind you if they say they have been on a jolly with the last of the cash and they now plan to move into painting and decorating that might not go down to well??

Arc, that is a very good observation, it did seem to hot up once the US opened yesterday! Test 40p for close? What the chances??

Round the houses and back to where we started. Be interesting to see if we get the same action as yesterday on US open.

Very nice tree shake - which didn't occur on the last rise - ahead of results tomorrow (which are academic, as pointed out, unless containing news).

Good chance of a further rise this afternoon ?
