Ncondezi Energy: Agreement with Shanghai Power signed (BUY)
Ncondezi Energy has announced that, after around two years of negotiation, it has signed a binding Joint Development Agreement with Shanghai Electric Power Co Ltd (SEP) for the development of the Ncondezi 300MW coal-fired power project in Tete, Mozambique. SEP will now invest up to US$25.5m to fund the ongoing development costs to Financial Close in exchange for a 60% interest in the power station project. Following Financial Close, the joint venture will pay Ncondezi US$35m on initial drawdown of construction funding. This will go towards funding Ncondezi’s 40% equity interest in the project. Our target price remains under review, pending release of details of the updated technical and economic parameters for the project.

Simon_64 - not much difference in issued share capital between NCCL and KIBO as evidenced by market caps and respective share prices.

NCCL also has a lot more coal lads.

I also hold Kibo, but NCCL has a lot less shares in issue so the upside here is also huge.

Like I said, buy Kibo. Much closer to FC and still holding 100% of its flagship project.
