Thanks for your efforts here m1sak.

As a relatively new investor here buying in at ground zero, and gambling that inmo the shares look cheap and could rise, i have no truck with the BOD.

I do appreciate though how hard it must be to do business in moz , this is truly a country ripe for investment with its own business culture 'mechanisms' as to how things get done. Not easy at all.

I have not made a U turn at all. I did say in a previous post that with AFC on board, NCCL had financial strength to go it alone. They had alluded to that themselves in their RNS concerning the EDM extension, where they state that they were "checking all the project economics".
I did hear a rumour on another board recently that the Chinese were backed into a corner and may even cough up the costs to date, but thats not come from my source so I will believe it when I see it.
I do know that they are looking to raise the full cost of development at a price higher that the current share price, which at the time was 1.75p, so don`t get too excited just yet.
Also, I am no Walter Mitty as you like to point out, I have spoken to several people in the company and one in particular is happy to talk to me as I seem to be the only shareholder that shows an interest.

Pick up the phone and call them in the New Year.

I was not surprised to see no RNS today, I think the one released on the 11th was a "sweetener", a reassurance that things were going in the right direction but were unlikely to be completed before the latest deadline. After all, travelling between home, China and Moz cannot be easy at this time of year and do you know of any lawyers who will be working over the Festive Season?
So I think it will be all hands to the pump next week or the week after, getting the legal bits done,EDM are not concerned about another two weeks as long as they get their power plant and we are not going to spend £200,000 in that time either. I will lend them the cash if I have to!

I will give the BOD credit for what they have done, missed deadlines or not, it has not been easy.
Anyway, I am not going to worry about your comments to me and my supposed fantasy land, I have merely relayed information from the company to you, which would have been available to anyone had they bothered to contact the company.

11 December 2015: Ncondezi Energy Limited ("Ncondezi" or the "Company") (AIM: NCCL) is pleased to confirm that it is in the process of finalising a binding Joint Development Agreement with Shanghai Electric Power Co., LTD ("SEP") to jointly develop its 300 MW power project in Tete, Mozambique.

This announcement follows a public announcement to the Shanghai Stock Exchange this morning by the SEP Board:

"In accordance with China's strategic initiative of "One Belt, One Road", Shanghai Electric Power Corporation (SEP) is going to cooperate with Ncondezi Energy Limited (NEL) to invest and build two units of 150MW coal-fired power plants in Mozambique. For the purpose of accelerating the development of the project, SEP and NEL intends to sign the Joint Development Agreement for further cooperation."

Ncondezi will provide a further update to its shareholders as appropriate.
