market cap of 3.4 million, recieve about 3 million from jv sale, no brainer, some companies are valued at 5-10 times that with no cash

They'll still own the money-making 'technology'.

Saffy, No, they only owned 50% - but they do have another joint venture.

As ever with NSO they are light on information. We know that at the interims Joint ventures (plural) contributed about 43% to Operating Profit and about 45% to turnover. However, we have no breakdown as to what the figures were for the Gibraltar operation, so we have no way to value what is left. Nonetheless, very good news.

I just bought 2 x 50k , 3£ mill in cash when you have a market cap of 3.4 is alot of money. level 2 is very strong, I think my small buys have budged us up more, can't buy any more online at mo but am looking to add as I can see this double from here. imo of course, dyor

It gives them cash roughly equal to their market cap

Well, good but its an asset sale rather than a revenue sale.

Very good news today:

Imminent sale by NTS of its 50% interest in its Gibraltar based joint venture Slop Oil Reception and Treatment Limited. The proposed consideration payable to NTS is $6 million in cash and this is a significant premium to book value.

Due diligence is currently underway and completion is expected to occur within 60 days.

They should go a whole lot of places.
They have some good technology but they have completely failed to penetrate the market with it.
I see this as a chronic failure of the Sales dept and if I attend the next AGM, I'll be calling for blood on the floor of the sales department.

careful now ventilator to bated breath, pacemaker to snooze, is that not asking for trouble?? surely they should both be on snooze, or would that put you in hybernation mode unable to wake should there be more activity.
