06/12/2016 16:55 | To think my first tranche of this share was 59p and before the tie-up with Dow was announced. Today's price is lunacy on a unicycle. | fil340
06/12/2016 16:45 | Howl01- well done ! It's dog-eat-dog out there in the heartless world of the fund managers. Of course the masters of the universe have all sorts of tricks to grind down we poor punters. There is no way L and G have bought all their shares on the open market. So, maybe they do a deal with USS in a closed transaction, but insist that USS sells some of their shares openly which crashes the share price Devious, certainly, but that's the nature of the game ! If we can sustain an share price above the 36p lower border of the support levels until and beyond the AGM, the prognosis looks promising. Of course, the critical element is visibility of earnings. If the Dow licence fees supported the reality of either Samsung or LG buying in volume, we would, I believe, careen through the buying zone price which is at c.82p. Some chartists in the past have suggested that, if the buying zone is transcended, the share price could double from there, if the fundamentals are supportive. Repeat, the fundamentals are critical here- that is earnings. It does seem extraordinary that, whilst we are revisiting those low points in January and February this year, there are seriously positive changes to Nano's potential in terms of Wah Hong, Merck, $/£ gradient and enhancement of production yields (M.E. reports 10X). Be steady, be strong ! | enteleon
06/12/2016 16:16 | Are they? I looked just now and the share price is at an all time low. The large shorts have plenty of leeway and unless nano doubles in price overnight they will have plenty of time to exit gracefully and largely unnoticed. | onething
06/12/2016 16:07 | Watch for the short squeeze very soon. Shorters starting to loose there grip. | john henry
06/12/2016 16:04 | Must be crazy but small top up today at 37p.... | howl01
06/12/2016 15:58 | always said ssw was a plant. Each time he comes, it's the same old story, and the share price falls. Don't think each story is linked though. best we tolerate him, and enjoy the white nuckle ride.. can be very profitable for a lot of posters here when the share price resumes it's upward journey. (please..) | jfacwc
06/12/2016 15:41 | Some of you may remember that SSW claimed an " all time low share price " this time last year. | euroto
06/12/2016 15:16 | The market will push this back up and those selling at the lows will buy back in. But there're nervous holders and will sell again in due course. All sadly predictable. As for slip, he said this was going to 5p per share and was the short of the century. He could have closed his short a year ago at the same price... I'm more interested in the industry and why Wah Hong and Merck came on board. AGM soon, then we'll see what's released at CES. | kuss1
06/12/2016 14:59 | We can't know for sure, but it is certainly a possibility I feel. | aimingupward2
06/12/2016 14:59 | far fetched but goes to show how manipulated shares are - i reckon takeover fever is short term best bet for a spike | firminator1
06/12/2016 14:52 | Would it be too far fetched to think that the recent fall in share price is linked to the big L and G purchase, and that SSW and his mates are part of a group whose job it is to lower share prices so that big purchasers get shares at rock bottom prices. Regardless of their shorting activities which are ancilliary or maybe not real? | woolybanana
06/12/2016 14:35 | ...and there is the bounce folks - took its time | firminator1
06/12/2016 14:29 | Price action does looking encouraging. We've caressed the very bottom of the support at 36p and the L and G purchase looks significant. Hang in there, good folks ! | enteleon
06/12/2016 13:22 | Thanks one thing | firminator1
06/12/2016 12:40 | Firminator the RNS clearly states that the threshold crossed is going above the 3% level, and under previous holding it says Fist Notification. Ie. Purchase. | onething
06/12/2016 12:39 | Thanks Mr oz much appreciated. I have bought back in again after selling this morning. ! | firminator1
06/12/2016 12:37 | Firm ; look for yourself at the End Oct Shareholder list L+G increased by 1.37million shares ( approx 1%) after the RNS today | mr.oz
06/12/2016 12:26 | Can someone confirm l and g as a sale or buy as can't see a pre position on the rns Can't see how this can be anything other than a sale | firminator1
06/12/2016 12:11 | He said Nanoco was a 2-year short on a GVC post earlier today. That he works so hard on his posts on ADVFN tells me he has a nose for weak PI sentiment more than anything. Otherwise he could just go short and have long lunches, like the professional set. | fil340
06/12/2016 12:01 | slippery has an "uncanny" knack of calling this. Makes you wonder what he knows and how and is it legal? | davemac3
06/12/2016 11:45 | Ha yes syd you are spot on. Was that L&G a buy or a sale ? | firminator1
06/12/2016 11:19 | Firm at least I haven't sold and brought upteen times and my average is 39.50 nothing to fear, like some PIs. | syd777
06/12/2016 11:16 | had some more at 36.9, rude not to | mysticmonkey
06/12/2016 11:08 | Legal and General buying is a turn-up. Next week is "triple witching" when margin calls are met. Have not noticed the volume of L and G's purchase appearing on the open market, so maybe USS and L and G have done a closed market deal. No other major institutional investors have notified sales. 36.5p is where the share price was on January 21st, 2015, when macro sentiment was at a very low point (oil slump etc). share price touched those levels on February 12th, when again macro sentiment slumped. Price action very interesting. The fool in me has bought some more ! | enteleon
06/12/2016 11:04 | Slippy leaves and guess who pops up - alter ego Syd | firminator1 |
