11/11/2016 19:53 | I hear there is a drop-in solution, which enhances brightness, colour and reduces power consumption... | fil340
11/11/2016 19:26 | I wonder how Japan Display can improve its LCD tech.. Display wants to improve its liquid-crystal display technology to compete against OLED displays while trying to set up its own manufacturing lines for mass-producing OLED panels. Both efforts require large investments, and analysts have questioned how the company would finance them. | syd777
11/11/2016 17:41 | Thanks FIL...I do remember that one now. Will listen again for corroboration in the more recent releases. | kenirogas
11/11/2016 16:19 | The next DOW payment at the end of November as Kuss has highlighted could even see £1.20 by Xmas And 1.80 by CES17. | syd777
11/11/2016 16:14 | Found this article interesting... Samsung growing sales by 100%. CES will be interesting.... Qdots coming out of the walls.... And Nano could quite easily put on £1 on Dow production confirmation. Samsung Electronics unveiled its third-generation Quantum Dot TV, which is based on the newly developed Quantum dot technology at CES 2017. The size uniformity and the light efficiency are improved than the materials applied to the existing second-generation Quantum dot TV, resulting in higher image clarity and energy efficiency. Although it is not a form of 'QLED TV' that eliminates the backlight altogether, it has also improved software algorithms to improve the performance of high contrast ratio (HDR) technology. | kuss1
11/11/2016 15:54 | PC Why dont you go through your historic posts. Now your predicting big gains next year. Your s fantasist. I hope you never appear as a witnesd in court. You have as much credibility as Hilary Clinton. | slipperysidewinder
11/11/2016 15:49 | PC If i told you hom much profit i am making on Nanoco you would need smelling salts. Nanoco would have to put on £1 for me to be concerned. I have nine short positions in total | slipperysidewinder
11/11/2016 15:12 | Just banked a bit of profit today, nice 12% gain in only a few days which is of course a 12% loss for holding shorters who should have closed out at near 40p when I bought! Nice bit of trading this week then. Still have a holding, this was tactical since I saw an opportunity to invest in another stock I want to increase my holding in. Think the big gain in Nano will be new year still building up to CES2017 and beyond. | perfect choice
11/11/2016 11:12 | Got another update from the cleaning lady have you slip? Still waiting on your heralded boaed changes lol | fil340
11/11/2016 11:01 | PC and his vision of Nanoco through rose tinted specs at it again. Utter rubbish and as usual total conjecture in the absence of facts. Sheer lunacy and wishful thinking. | slipperysidewinder
11/11/2016 09:37 | Yep, expect progress on that but as I think somebody else posted some time ago, the issue for Dow is that they want a commercial relationship with both Samsung and LG, so even if they progress with one OEM, they will not say anything which could upset the other partner and it would probably be commercial sensitive information anyway and cannot be disclosed. Would like it to be different and previously did know of a hint Dow would say something, but I am now assuming the only way we will know what Dow are doing is by Nano stating the increase in royalty revenues received which would blatantly mean Dow are supplying 1 of the 2 OEMs. Right now I only see that as Samsung as part of their intention to expand CFQD into the rest of their range. While LG have publically stated they intend to launch a QD based TV and that may be launched at CES2017 (my guess), the actual launch may well be into next year and even Summer. Remember Samsung in launching their next generation of SUHD TVs at CES2016, did not actually get them to the main market until the Summer. CFQD supply will be ahead of that of course but not immediate from launch. On that basis I think Samsung will be the first to commence volume CFQD supply from Dow, who are currently upgrading their Nano manufacturing process (which is revenue to Nano, so Dow are paying out money for this, which they would not do if they had no need to upgrade). LG will be later, that is my guess right now. | perfect choice
11/11/2016 09:01 | Canaccord Genuity 36th Annual Growth Conference, August 10-11 2016 ME speaks about Dow, the facility in Cheonan, Korea, and their focus on Samsung. At 14:25: "They're in the final stages of approval to supply the big S." hxxp://www.nanocotec | fil340
11/11/2016 08:35 | Maybe being "softened up" ahead of a bid.Perfect time to buy the co as all th3 hard work has been done with production and sales in the horizon.Another great British co to be sold before shareholders reap benefits.? | j777j
11/11/2016 08:30 | PC: agreed on GSA trading, just surprised at that level...RE CES...and in 2016, and 2015 before that!!--- however, I'm with Syd now and think we MuST at least be at primary school...FIL, thx, but I still see that ref as inference rather than absolute fact. GLA | kenirogas
11/11/2016 08:14 | Those 0.1-0.2% changes for GSA are just them doing so short trading kenirogos, you can see they are doing this all the time if you check their short history. Suspect they have already closed that 0.1% trade as they only seem to hold them for 1-3 days at a time. Looks like they took a bet in drop in price from the USA election and as long as they closed that trade short on Wednesday morning they would have been successful. The situation with Samsung is interesting to say the least. Hansol are simply not in a position today to meet a major expansion of CFQD based TVs into the rest of the Samsung range. Samsung are not wasting their time testing Dow output to just do nothing with it. I look with interest what is announced at CES2017. | perfect choice
11/11/2016 08:06 | Samsung and Dow engaged in months of sampling to get the CFQD film perfect. I wonder what happens next... hmm... | fil340
11/11/2016 08:01 | >>>>> ME - 11th Oct 2016: "We’re seeing – we’ve had two quarters of royalty payments from Dow. Third quarter will be due in mid-November and we’ve been seeing those increase, which is very, very positive." >>>>> | fil340
11/11/2016 07:31 | Well, GSA appear to have increased their short on Tuesday, total now 4.35% overall.---- FIL....samples to Samsung a fact? Have you seen new confirmation, or are you inferring it from ME statements? Don't recall him stating that outright, but may be wrong. | kenirogas
10/11/2016 22:44 | Samsung have won 35 awards at ces 2017,let's hope a nanoco equipped tv is on the list | dafad
10/11/2016 22:39 | This isn't guesswork and hope. Fact: Samsung have known about Nanoco's dots for literally years. Fact: Samsung are taking orders of samples from Dow right now. Fact: orders of samples are ramping. Fact: Samsung want to balloon their CFQD range from 5 (five) to 20 (twenty) MILLION tellies. This is about as much of a no-brainer as you can possibly find. And that is just Dow. | fil340
10/11/2016 22:34 | Slippy having his last play on this BB throne, the president elect Kuss/Mapacho is about to be inaugurated hope he has a place for me in his cabinet,as the entertainment minister. | syd777
