08/11/2016 14:28 | sound familiar | roadster750
08/11/2016 14:26 | Slippy, please understand that facts are facts. In favour of Nanoco making it, and real soon: Samsung's stated intention to make 20m CFQD tellies for 2017: Hansol capacity limited, and Samsung have dual-source policy. LG to join the QD fray to defray megalosses of OLED, will need cad-free QD to keep parity with Samsung. Dow sending up the smoke signals, sending out fresh batches of dots at increasing regularity. Meanwhile, closer to home: Wah Hong signed, making test films. Over the channel: Merck signed, ordering dots, sending dots to film makers all over the show. Aaaaaand facts suggesting you are correct: the share price, which, as everyone knows, is evidence of (temporary) market sentiment at best. | fil340
08/11/2016 14:22 | The pension fund sales that are being announced should be s lesson to you all. These guys dont like being shafted vote their unhappiness by disposing of stock. More to come. It is inevitable. Bearing in mind they are selling snd taking big hits within short timeframes. The question is, WHY??? Ad usual the Nanoco private investor will be the last to know. | slipperysidewinder
08/11/2016 14:18 | Fil Still strumming away om your guitar pretending all is well at the next big thing Nanoco. Keep on stumming whist everyone else rushes for the exit. This share is doomed. Fools gold. | slipperysidewinder
08/11/2016 13:42 | Oh look, it's Slippy, the clown staring out from the woods. Got any news from the cafeteria for us today? | fil340
08/11/2016 13:38 | You all laughed when i told you this would happen. You are not laughing now. New price target 5p | slipperysidewinder
08/11/2016 13:36 | Balaura Quite simply USS are sceptical and for good reason. They are s hell of a lot closer to the company than you lot are. Follow the money and sell. | slipperysidewinder
08/11/2016 13:31 | The problem with the acceptance tech discussion is that QDot TVs are selling in their millions. Outselling all others in fact. And next year sales will double again. Qdots are here for many a year... | kuss1
08/11/2016 13:18 | USS, is this how you manage my pension, FFS...?! Buying high and selling low...a few weeks before the share price will rocket? | balaura
08/11/2016 12:47 | Of course I may be completely wrong as I often am. However, sales and royalties occurred in the last financial year and sales are occurring now and a royalty payment is due from DOW later this month so there has to be a small degree of acceptance on what is a matter of fact. | petepitstop
08/11/2016 12:14 | Psst... Slippy... LG losing megabucks on OLED. QD a drop-in solution - a simple sheet of film - supported by billions of dollars of LCD infrastructure across the world. This just in on LG's woes with OLED: | fil340
08/11/2016 12:09 | Pete You are WRONG If you follow new tech like i have you will know that the third stage is nearly always the realisation after raising lots if money, that the manufacturers are not going to invest further time and money. The fourth stage which quickly follows is nearly always insolvency. Only once in a blue moon do these companies end up the next ARM or Apple. The markets are a graveyard for dood ideas that merely end up ad curiosities. Even if the company hae a superior product. Just look at Betamax. Fact! | slipperysidewinder
08/11/2016 11:59 | There are 4 stages for a new science. The first is outright dismissal. The second is curiosity. The third stage is implementation and I think we are at the very early part of this stage. The fourth and final stage is acceptance. So we are just past the half way point of a very long road. | petepitstop
08/11/2016 11:58 | Meanwhile The Nanoco share price continues to collapse as institutions close to the company reduce their holdings as the company's credibilty evaporates. | slipperysidewinder
08/11/2016 11:41 | Dow's factory alive with dots. Samsung gearing up for mass-production of 20m QD TV's. LG in play, acknowledged need to get into QD before it's too late... The train is coming... not long now... >>>>> ME - 11th Oct 2016: "We’re seeing – we’ve had two quarters of royalty payments from Dow. Third quarter will be due in mid-November and we’ve been seeing those increase, which is very, very positive." >>>>> | fil340
08/11/2016 11:40 | OLED making loss for LG while their LCD brought in profits, they could in the future abandon OLED and go QD TVs.LG needs to bring out its own version of QDTVs by CES17. | syd777
08/11/2016 11:24 | Dow busy makin' dots. No smoke without fire. The train is coming and will demolish the shorters. | fil340
08/11/2016 11:12 | The selling will continue. This will hit the 30's very very soon. | slipperysidewinder
08/11/2016 11:11 | All You can still salvage something by getting out now. Dont be the hero holding the door for your mates and getting trapped inside. Most of the longs have sold ages ago. Dont be foolish. | slipperysidewinder
08/11/2016 11:08 | All I warned of disposals and you laughed. Well your not laughing now. Just wait and see. More to follow. They are trying to offload slowly without driving thr share price to sub 10p | slipperysidewinder
08/11/2016 09:50 | Yep. Posting cafeteria chatter to max out your short doesn't seem very wise to me. | fil340
08/11/2016 09:22 | Look like SSW did in fact manage to wind plenty of people up on here yesterday with utter bs.... | howl01
08/11/2016 09:11 | There is negligible value in second-guessing the reasons why a particular director buys/sells. "He bought because we're at bottom! No he didn't, he bought to prop up the sinking ship!" Utter BS. Perhaps a little value can be found in patterns. We have for Nanoco x3 director purchases in October. I put more stock in the fact that Dow are busy. | fil340 |
