Pound has strengthened against the dollar. So it's the reverse to the brexit situation. This could be sub 40 today.

Kuss, excellent work. So many facts going on in this board - maybe the shorts could follow our lead and present some??? Don't forget, mid-Nov - Will we get an RNS from Nanoco advising on royalties from Dow? Production to follow. No smoke without fire! Train is coming... all aboard...

slip,

It's called the investment builder and gives members 10 options for investments. Started 4 weeks ago. Applies to 14% of all members ... Massive change to investment strategy for the scheme...

slip, USS are not an active fund like Henderson's. USS never go to the AGM or the results presentations. They are the biggest pension scheme in the UK. Nano is small fry.

As I said, they have just introduced an new pension structure allowing their members to choose their investments. This will have an impact on the margins. Probably away from higher risk stocks..

You can argue the whys and the why nots for s month of Sundays. The fact of the matter is that i believe they made the decision to begin offloading, weeks ago. Due to the falling share price they have to sell small amounts through their broker. Little by little. Otherwise due to lack of appetite gor their stock, they would ultimately crash the stock and receive litteraly pennies.

The broker has a large sell order and they must attempt to get the best price for their client. Even in times of adversity, when nobody wants the stock.

Little and often. Bit by bit by bit. This what I mean by Chinese torture.

No slip, they now allow their members to choose their own investments... low risk bond or growth tech etc... Started on 1 Oct. Will no doubt alter where they park their money......

Pension peeps tend to be conservative.... So it's no surprise to see a reduction on the growth side.

And on USS, you need to do some research. They changed their whole pension scheme on 1 Oct, moving from an 80th scheme to a 75th scheme but more importantly they now allow members to chose their top-up investments. So it's become part defined and part optional. This will no doubt have an effect on where and what they invest in.....

At what point did USA buy NANO? Just wondering, with the recent Brexit GBP currency crash they may have made a 25% profit overnight and decided to cash out, wouldn't blame them.

What a hilarious bunch of posts. If Slippy could he would accuse Nanoco of witchraft and demand the company is burned to the ground. As for institutional selling it was a measly 250k share offload whilst USA still hold 9.4m shares. Do not see that as heading for a hard exit myself. Impossible to take some of the stuff written with any belief when it is so one sided backed by every emotion but no facts. Yes the share price has dropped massively but for long term holders this is a long term waiting game to next year. My big concern is a point Slippy has raised is cash burn. IF Nanoco announce funding rights issue request next 3 to 6 months they would have lost credibility with me. For now that is not even on the table. Believe my fellow nanoco believers
