11/10/2016 10:22 | Merck making purchases direct from Nano. Initial trials on pilot plants. Actively considering location of main plant | bagpuss67
11/10/2016 10:17 | Dow royalty payt "increasing" not "significantly so"...payments for improved tech though, which has to be good | kenirogas

11/10/2016 10:11 | I'm embarrassed to admit being a shareholder in this company. Bought in about 3 years ago & am so far under water it's pointless selling. The progress on monetisation of their business is pitiful: Revenue £474k & a loss of £12.6 million! It's disgraceful how they can continue to operate in this manner, blowing shareholder cash, flip flopping from one expensive failed strategy to another whilst the Directors/management continue to draw high salaries. | mortimer7
11/10/2016 10:06 | now working sound and pic | spike_1

11/10/2016 09:57 | I wonder if someone will have the opportunity this morning to ask what is the daily revenue run rate from current 7/24 shift running at Runcorn?. | scrutable
11/10/2016 09:37 | I agree. There is a lot that could have been spelt out in a forward looking statement without giving away commercially sensitive information. Months more speculation will now ensue. Unless, of course, there really is nothing concrete to say right now. | onething
11/10/2016 09:29 | The salient phrase in an incompetent RNS is: Each strategic business area in which the Group operates has seen substantial progress whether it be in enhanced optical performance for displays or cancer imaging. A load of generalities and assertions as expected, and a failure to project the true commercial, progress which has occurred. No mention, which would have been immensely helpful, of how many Chinese, Japanese or S. Korean display companies had been trialling QDs through Wah Hong. Have they a single US customer yet? No clue whether they have or have not. If not what does Michael Edelman have to say of his achievements there since incurring the cost and dislocation of moving to the USA?. There is clearly progress and excitement at UCS re the use in surgery, and more so in Horticulture, but not a word about the level of increase in usage or the type of end result experienced by early adopters, for example, applying Qds to grow lights, and getting higher crop yields. Not even a mention that the take up in Horticulture has been sufficiently encouraging for the company to have decided to repeat their presence at Lux Live next month. The light is always darkest just before the dawn. Acceptance of change through scientific discoveries is always slow to take off, even if subsequently overwhelming and universal. This sad RNS still reflects the promise of future out performance on the global market, but much hangs on Merck, who are extremely well positioned to take the lion's share of the future global display business with their current 60% hold on liquid crystal deliveries atm. | scrutable
11/10/2016 09:26 | Merck could make a bid before paying a licence fee,as of now no mention from Nanoco of any payments recived to boost market confidence with this years revenue. Its speculation ATM,watch this space for OSRAM news soon. | syd777
11/10/2016 09:24 | Topping up can't resist at these levels | trt
11/10/2016 09:12 | All the discussion about fund raising is pure speculation. Cash and cash equivalents = £14.5 mill. Revenue should start to increase given dow's operation and runcorn going into 24/7 operation. Cash burn appears steady at approx £10 mill. A not inconsiderable amount of which has been spent on negotiating and setting up the new agreements, these could be viewed as one off costs, in effect lowering the cost base going forward. On the negative side it would be encouraging to see the BOD purchasing shares especially at these levels. | whum
11/10/2016 08:55 | esoog1 one on the other hand has a good track record - goose whats going to happen ?... | firminator1
11/10/2016 08:52 | The Qdot industry isn't going away... Looks like QD vision has gone to the wall. One less in the race. The big chemical companies are backing Nano. Only takes a few orders... Time will tell. | kuss1
11/10/2016 08:52 | Goose excellent comment from a short professional,A bid could be made with the rate of the £.Merck looks a good candidate. | syd777

Its about long term people, months and years not days. Short term share price will be up and down. | firminator1
