Another factual error niggy..can you get anything right??

“… he has recently recruited two high caliber NEDs, which supports his announcements that the business has passed inflexion.”

It is not BT’s gift to appoint or be a decision maker in the recruitment of NED’s far from it. It is the job of the existing NED’s on the Nomination Committee and the Company would have had engaged external consultants to attract independent talent.

The Nominations Committee comprises Christopher Richards, who is Chairman of the Committee, Alison Fielding and Chris Batterham. Nb they were criticised for lack of independent directors by the proxy companies last year..so getting in new NED’s was a stated priority.
I am in no way knocking the credibility of the appointments who appear very strong and are clearly independent and hope they will do their roles in holding the executives to account as well as supporting the delivery of the company's strategic aims diligently.

“Brian Tenner is a competent business manager who hasn't made any mistakes since he became CEO..” wtf!

Ha ha ha …might be a fan boy opinion but that is not a fact. How could you possibly know unless you were involved in the decision making processes? How could you know without knowing what might have come from a jury award?? Just nonsense as always.
Are you paid to post this kind of thing…I certainly hope not you are so very bad at it !!
Off you trot now.

Just block people whose opinion you don’t want to hear..its that simple. Setting up new accounts to attack them is plain weird.
I have never once claimed to have inside information on this company..I am not in that circle so yes I have opinions based on facts. Anyone who does post on bulletin boards who is recognised as inside is an idiot.
You are a liar because you outright denied being Nitwit in previous incarnations and you then stupidly exposed yourself as indeed being that same poster.A liar.
You have not posted anything in the way of opinion on the stock save that Brian is doing a brilliant job and is a lovely person..do you have any serious view as to when and how they will make a distribution that meets their firm commitment to make that happen in the first quarter??

For clarity I don't have multiple IDs. I have one at a time. I sometimes leave because I have better things to do. When I return I have to choose a new ID each time.

Trying to use this to call me a liar is just a distraction tactic because I put you on the spot.

You're right though. You are not inside and therefore you don't know what is going on and therefore you shouldn't make insinuations against management who do know.

If you don't like waiting for news then sell. That's your only option. Whining all day whilst bullying others who point this out is nasty and narcissistic.

You, Troublesome and others like you are a complete pain to other holders. It is no wonder intelligent people refuse to participate and that the Nanoco forums are toxic and misaligned with the views of most shareholders.

You've simply listed all the options and have not been specific. You clearly don't know what's coming but still like to pretend.

BTW, not that anyone cares but I don't have multiple identities. I merely come and go, as is my preference. It's better than constantly being at loggerheads with idiots who think they know best how to run a business despite being unqualified.

Been out watching my boy play a bit of football..lovely out there.
So what’s this nonsense niggy?

I have posted many times the options and what i favour ..a premium tender say half the outstanding equity at 24p. I think it would clear loose holders and since many holders are underwater there is no real tax implication for those in a tax wrapper or otherwise. I think it would have a favourable impact on the price after the distribution there would be about 12p cash per share but i figure through reinvestment that the price would hold higher than that maybe close to current levels. However before reading your posts which actually give zero ideas i had posted this away as folks were discussing special dividend prospects.

“The company will not be valued on an income basis for a one off distribution …there is not clear line of sight to be cash generative let alone making any long term distributable income.

There is no guarantee it will be a dividend which would be taxable to those outside a tax wrapper ..since most holders are not carrying profits then a share buyback or tender would have little tax implications for just about anyone..i still expect them to come up with a split share hybrid that folks can choose between an income or capital distribution as they said they wanted to achieve…perhaps accompanied by an on market buy back with part of the capital return. If they intended making the capital return in the new tax year therefore Q2 perhaps communicating that would have been an idea!”

Your go.

“There is no delay with the distribution. It's only 8 days since the end of February when the money was expected ..”
The money was expected on the 4th Feb..always was and actually arrived early and Nanoco would have been informed before it cleared. So as well as the year they had to prepare they have now sat on the cash without even announcing the mechanism for 0ver 7 weeks now.

If they announce it on Monday it can’t be with shareholders for another four weeks plus…delayed it is. Clueless.

You would think Brian’s wife would have better things to do than post on here.
Solar was a comment based on developments in Korea using QDs to maximise energy yield..Nanoco seems to have bettered their latest claims some years ago..if one can produce a far more efficient panel using QDs as opposed to current run of the mill panels there will be far higher yield.
The idea of some dope like you having a clue how to distribute £40m is amusing though.
There are only a few ways to do it ..it’s not rocket science and they have had a year to look at the four real options…bloody useless.

BTW Kooba, I saw your posts about solar on the other board. The Chinese make almost all solar PVs and can sell them so cheap now that they undercut plywood for architectural cladding. Solar panels now cost 2% what they did in 2000,

Anyone posting opinions in public really should know this. It's not hard to find the information.

I thought i'd drop in and see if anyone's posted anything insightful but I see it's just the same old twaddle.

There is no delay with the distribution. It's only 8 days since the end of February when the money was expected and dealing with £40m is not a five minute task; as none of you know for yourselves.

I expect the company to be thorough and professional, as they always are, in optimising the outcome and would prefer it took longer if necessary than that it's rushed to please a moronic minority of plebs.

The FCA look after their own, the police look after their own, the judges are for the establishment not the people. That's the society we now live in, those that are suppose to serve us has now somehow been subverted in that we have to serve them.

Clocktower - the market regulator’s have been infiltrated and are now a bunch of toothless, woke pretenders.

Sheldon Mills is a FCA executive director covering anti-competitive behaviour - check out his position with Stonwall and some of their connections….all political. lol You couldn’t make it up!

Farage took on Coutts after being debanked (they did not like his political views) and the FCA only took action when Hunt put extreme pressure on - the FCA are being paid by those they are supposed to regulate…we have no chance here!

Having said that - I don’t expect BT to get a free ride.

If there is confusion or what appears a straightforward delay in the expected timetable for a major corporate action then the company should put out a clarification..since it is now pretty impossible for the company to make a distribution this quarter which was their firm commitment then the time for a clarification is about now , not waiting for the results on the 27th. The earliest they can realistically get money to shareholders is between 3 weeks ( special dividend ) to 5 weeks (tender/share scheme) so we are likely looking at mid to end April at earliest if they intend providing a choice of income or capital as they said they wanted to do.

Seeing the RNS that clearly stated the intention to distribute the funds as stated, would it not be reasonable to contact the market regulators pointing out what appears to be a misleading statement, in light of the delay.

If funds are not distributed having made the statement in a timely fashion the company maybe in breach of their legal duties, as directors.
