18/6/2019 20:35 | Your personal doubts and suppositions around the director’s sale are irrelevant. Worse, you are insinuating the CEO is an inside trader in Nanoco shares, which is ridiculous. Edelman was quite clear in the last Q and A after the last results presentation that the QD monitor announced last year was still in process. If you want to be taken seriously go find some solid facts to support your rhetoric. | nigwit
18/6/2019 20:26 | Heavily doubt this is nanoco. Just of the facts mike sells 2 million and no mention of display from nanoco. If this had cad free nanoco dots they would of released news of the first commercial display available. Silence as usual means they are not close. | mrplay
18/6/2019 18:23 | This tweet is interesting. It seems that after long delays ASUS have launched a 35” curved screen QD monitor. The specifications are here These specifications give the gamut as 90% DCI P3 compared with 95% on the last ASUS QD model. This possibly indicates a shift to cadmium free dots and therefore may account for the batch of QDs that Nanoco sold to Wah Hong last year. (Once again. I’m just pointing to the facts I see, which aren’t complete, so please don’t criticise me. It’s up to you to find out more and decide if this helps with your individual choices.) | nigwit
18/6/2019 14:31 | I just did. | howl01
18/6/2019 14:30 | It’s all part of a bigger picture that relates to and supports what we’ve been told. It’s not helpful to keep getting personal. Just present the data and let anyone who wants it make their own minds up and illuminate it further if they are able. | nigwit
18/6/2019 13:47 | Thought I was being helpful. What conclusions from 'the data' do you draw exactly? Seems meaningless to me. | howl01
18/6/2019 13:46 | I think we can agree that they’re making something, and it isn’t scotch mist. | andycapped
18/6/2019 13:23 | Talk about splitting hairs to try and belittle others! I find the data useful and you are perfectly entitled to ignore it. Everyone can make up their own minds and no-one needs your constant mocking sneers and dismissal of everyone’s opinions but your own. | nigwit
18/6/2019 12:43 | Ok my conclusion is it provides no insight whatsoever into Nanoco progress. OLEIC acid is also not used to manufacture quantum dots. As a GCSE chemistry student would probably be able to tell you, in the context of QDs it's used as a ligand. Bit like a garage mechanic ordering a spanner. | howl01
17/6/2019 20:02 | Nanoco and Plessey mentioned here but limited data | nigwit
17/6/2019 19:57 | In what I hope is a new spirit of positivity and sharing here is the latest import data, which was updated a few days ago with the April comcodes And exports To avoid doubt and accusations I am only providing these links so you may draw your own conclusions (whether negative or positive) from the limited data they provide. All I’ll add is that Oliec acid is used to make QDs and is referred to in many related patents. I hope you’ll do some more digging into the details and add to the knowledge. | nigwit
17/6/2019 17:18 | Here's some techy stuff to chew on and hopefully change the subject - they're studying HgSe/HgTe specifically but the principles will be the same. And a short article regarding application potentials for IR sensors. | howl01
17/6/2019 16:27 | Not so sure of the relevant useful info comment but there's certainly a lot of it. I'm happy to ignore for the sanity of other posters. Double Amen | howl01
17/6/2019 16:10 | Amen to that. | andycapped
17/6/2019 13:45 | be up before the beak for exposing yourself. how do you know his so called real name is not just another account name, and does it matter? the bb is for discussing the company not personality issues, he does contribute a lot of useful relevant info. let us concentrate on nano and not each others proclivities. | notimpressed
17/6/2019 12:30 | You would not of had your true identity exposed if you did not have multiple accounts. You exposed yourself. No one forced you to post from two account on the same day. No one forced you to use you actual name as the username. | mrplay
16/6/2019 21:26 | It’s what happens when the facts don’t fit the rhetoric. | nigwit
16/6/2019 21:10 | if this bickering does n't cease, all of you will be sent to the naughty corner | notimpressed
16/6/2019 20:50 | I wonder if any of you would be sufficiently brave to continue posting as you do having had your true identities disclosed. Over to you. | nigwit
16/6/2019 20:33 | Goodbye Nigel - us morons have managed very well before your appearance and sure we will manage just as well going forward. Enjoy the mature debate of your in depth research with your friends. All success. | howl01
15/6/2019 14:52 | if like myself in being unable to resist tech stocks, this is worth a look, in many ways its similar to nano in business model and stage of development, i bought in a couple of months ago, as a long long term hold, its not a pump or ramp, have a look and decide for yourselves. Ceres power CWR on aim | notimpressed
15/6/2019 14:28 | I think I must be the greater fool for believing it’s worthwhile arguing with morons making false accusations when I don’t have to and can instead keep my research among friends who reciprocate generously and debate maturely. ——— There can’t be any backtracking at the AGM because the company has not made any single firm promises to which it can be held. It has been clear that success depends on markets that change and which it doesn’t control. On those explicit risks everyone who remains invested makes their own choices and will be responsible for the outcomes. Success will depend upon 1. A purchase order from US partner And/or 2. The end of the RoHS exemption extension And/or 3. New or contracts or organic growth from Dow, Merck, Plessey or Carewear If you don’t believe in any of these possibilities eventuating before you need to get out then the decision is obvious and you can act accordingly as soon at 08.00 Monday. If you’re still here at 08.01 that’s solely your lookout. | nigwit |
