17/6/2019 20:02 | Nanoco and Plessey mentioned here but limited data | nigwit
17/6/2019 19:57 | In what I hope is a new spirit of positivity and sharing here is the latest import data, which was updated a few days ago with the April comcodes And exports To avoid doubt and accusations I am only providing these links so you may draw your own conclusions (whether negative or positive) from the limited data they provide. All I’ll add is that Oliec acid is used to make QDs and is referred to in many related patents. I hope you’ll do some more digging into the details and add to the knowledge. | nigwit
17/6/2019 17:18 | Here's some techy stuff to chew on and hopefully change the subject - they're studying HgSe/HgTe specifically but the principles will be the same. And a short article regarding application potentials for IR sensors. | howl01
17/6/2019 16:27 | Not so sure of the relevant useful info comment but there's certainly a lot of it. I'm happy to ignore for the sanity of other posters. Double Amen | howl01
17/6/2019 16:10 | Amen to that. | andycapped
17/6/2019 13:45 | be up before the beak for exposing yourself. how do you know his so called real name is not just another account name, and does it matter? the bb is for discussing the company not personality issues, he does contribute a lot of useful relevant info. let us concentrate on nano and not each others proclivities. | notimpressed
17/6/2019 12:30 | You would not of had your true identity exposed if you did not have multiple accounts. You exposed yourself. No one forced you to post from two account on the same day. No one forced you to use you actual name as the username. | mrplay
16/6/2019 21:26 | It’s what happens when the facts don’t fit the rhetoric. | nigwit
16/6/2019 21:10 | if this bickering does n't cease, all of you will be sent to the naughty corner | notimpressed
16/6/2019 20:50 | I wonder if any of you would be sufficiently brave to continue posting as you do having had your true identities disclosed. Over to you. | nigwit
16/6/2019 20:33 | Goodbye Nigel - us morons have managed very well before your appearance and sure we will manage just as well going forward. Enjoy the mature debate of your in depth research with your friends. All success. | howl01
15/6/2019 14:52 | if like myself in being unable to resist tech stocks, this is worth a look, in many ways its similar to nano in business model and stage of development, i bought in a couple of months ago, as a long long term hold, its not a pump or ramp, have a look and decide for yourselves. Ceres power CWR on aim | notimpressed
15/6/2019 14:28 | I think I must be the greater fool for believing it’s worthwhile arguing with morons making false accusations when I don’t have to and can instead keep my research among friends who reciprocate generously and debate maturely. ——— There can’t be any backtracking at the AGM because the company has not made any single firm promises to which it can be held. It has been clear that success depends on markets that change and which it doesn’t control. On those explicit risks everyone who remains invested makes their own choices and will be responsible for the outcomes. Success will depend upon 1. A purchase order from US partner And/or 2. The end of the RoHS exemption extension And/or 3. New or contracts or organic growth from Dow, Merck, Plessey or Carewear If you don’t believe in any of these possibilities eventuating before you need to get out then the decision is obvious and you can act accordingly as soon at 08.00 Monday. If you’re still here at 08.01 that’s solely your lookout. | nigwit
15/6/2019 12:11 | It’s always been a long-term, speculative buy whose success depends on the strength of the IP and future demand for the technology. The few vocal, angry holders appear to have gone in too soon and/or too deep in the hope of easy money, which is always risky - especially if you don’t do basic, detailed research, like reading some patents. It’s better to buy because you want to own part of the company and it’s future. This applies to all stocks and there are many thousands of alternatives if you don’t buy the story here. I’m happy with progress towards profits since I bought but no-one should expect the share price to always correlate with value. They will reconcile eventually. Probably when there’s more good news. Meanwhile, past sentiment remains a drag. Remember pessimism is good since it normally indicates hidden value. The shares to avoid are the ones that everyone thinks can only go higher and which become bubbles. I expect if I looked back three or four years I’d find a lot of familiar nicknames here talking like that. | nigwit
15/6/2019 11:23 | I suggest keeping things to simple facts. Nanoco still remains speculative on who the US partner is. The Apple connection if more than about Deutsch Bank, it's also relating to the huge amount of patents and interest Apple have with regards to QD uses. Either you think the company has potential to make it big or not. If not sell up and go short, if you're right you'll make plenty of money as the share price could reduce to single digits. I'm not a cheerleader for the ceo, and don't approve of his frequent share selling or some of the over optimistic projections, but ultimately it's going to be the technology that makes or breaks the company. | andycapped
15/6/2019 09:04 | You believe it is Apple because of deutsch bank. They same people that say nanoco are aim. | mrplay
15/6/2019 08:17 | I shan’t respond in kind. You disgrace yourselves. | nigwit
14/6/2019 22:40 | And yet the share price sinks. 20p down from last month. Partnerships come (Rns)and go (silently). Since Nigel joined nanoco every prediction he has made, every piece of research has lead to nothing. Truth hurts, people get angry. Why would the ceo sell 10 out his 11 million shares over the years if this company is about to reach for the stars. Carewear and...... Answers on a postcard Apple rumours???? | mrplay
14/6/2019 22:09 | Dear Mr Play - peasant that you are; Nigel's last post is a great example of his nuance, complexity and balance. Please try harder in your subsequent postings. | howl01
14/6/2019 13:05 | “Plessey has the only monolithic Micro LED solution currently available and is now licensing the technology to partners to create custom displays and light sources for a wide range of consumer electronics applications and more.“ Source: | nigwit
14/6/2019 10:37 | Yes Hopefully. But they have never delivered anything to comercialisation to date. I will be very happy if this time its different. Especially as all the eggs are now in one basket | bagpuss67 |
