andycapped as a long term holder, I hope(not a good reason to invest)
all the above bears fruit, but its a bit like banging your head
against the wall, its nice when you stop. I would like to believe ME
in his prognostications, but although its been said many times before
by selling his shares in nanoco does raise doubt and make you
question his belief in the project. The last offering where
even the PR rep was granted a sizeable amount even though she
had been employed for only a short period, and really made no
contribution to the development, was nothing short of
scandalous. Especially given the option to purchase at 18p
was not offered the PI's.

Dow, Merck, Wah Hong, Kyulux, plus the mysterious US Corp. Plus working with a University, the name of which escapes me at the moment, on the medical uses of their dots.

Notimp - these are the kind of statements that can come back to haunt. If I was cynical i'd say ME was guilty of deliberately hyping nano to enable the offload of his stock at the best price possible.
He says partnership(S) - how many so far?
I thought there was only 1.

From my point almost every part of that whole sentence is complete bs.Many such similar (ME) statements about nano over the years..However, by the law of averages, I certainly believe everything will come good soon.

From ME on announcement of expansion at Runcorn, 19th March

"Our deep expertise in the development and mass production of highly differentiated nanoparticles has enabled us to create partnerships, and future revenue streams, with partners around the globe.”

which partners? how much revenue?
14 days to end of July, the stated completion date for Runcorn.

No good talking in the present tense stating generalities. Got to take a position and back it up, or sell and justify.

I think it does well to hold a £125m market cap on the back of serial failure to deliver. Still enough believers out there. Lets hope they don't screw up the new US connection as well.

never ceases to amaze how the nano share price just continues on its merry boring (wallowing) way, when all around it (witness recent posted links) the world of lighting, health, tv-s, plant growth (to name but a few...), to say nothing of major Runcorn business expansions, and investments (albeit top secret...) are happening.

Lse board find a crumb and think it’s a cake. Problem is nanoco isn’t even a grain yet. From all the research how much has turned out to be right. For 6 months they expected the new top of the range gaming
Monitor would be nanoco’s Dots. Look how well that went. Last year mike said expect commercial products on the market q1. We are in q3 with no updates. Which board are realists?

It just wouldn't be nano if everything was plain sailing and above board. Must admit the crew over on LSE do seem to regularly find things to remain upbeat about.

I can buy 35k shares at 44p - buying off the bid without DMA is very unusual

Because they are presumably subject to a non disclosure agreement for now. I would guess they have good legal advice and if the information is not materially significant then they are under no obligation to divulge it.

Amateurish is divulging commercially sensitive information for no good reason.

notimp - it's very weird and not very professional.
All investors know is that the company has been asked to produce some nano materials. To what end precisely, by whom, how much, what potential revenue generation, what's the likely margin and by what completion date?
Answers on a post card....

Very amateurish.

12 week and the gap still not closed. The way the markets are going it's starting to look like it might be September before it's gone. Perhaps not surprising after the extent of the rally back in Feb. A lengthy consolidation often follows such big moves.

hxxps://www.displaysupplychain.com/blog/is-qdog-the-future-of-lcd-tv from 2017

Last month quantum dot supplier Nanosys filed with the US Commissioner for Trademarks for a trademark on the name “QDOG”. The filing information gives no detail about Nanosys’ intended use of the trademark or any other information about its intended meaning, but lists Nanosys’ Director of Marketing Jeff Yurek as the Signatory. While it’s amusing to think that QDOG is Nanosys’ new mascot (like the RCA dog Nipper) or Mr. Yurek’s gangsta rapper name, DSCC believes that QDOG stands for Quantum Dot On Glass, which may be the next best thing in the TV world.
