The CMF (20) indicator has also just moved above 0, first time since 21 April, now at +0.08 which is encouraging. If this reaches mid-low 30's again will probably buy back in (assuming no bad news ofc) having locked in 14% profit last Friday.

I doubt it very much.
That even more significant double bottom put in during April and May saw a very strong bounce with supportive volume. After that powerful rally we're simply seeing the pullback many were expecting. May still get 35p but a nice bull flag has almost completed and the volume on this dip has been very poor.
Only way we'll be back in the 20's is if there's no sales and/or further delays.
Now or never.

Wigwammer - my view is the quantum dot market will be significant enough that multiple suppliers can and probably will prosper. I don't think QMC's progress is a barrier to our success, certainly not at this juncture. I also think that we're better placed to succeed as things stand.

"People tend to see what they want to see despite the facts" said the gentleman seemingly convinced that QMC are on the cusp of global domination.

Crunch, I care about individual investors who might be enticed into making an idiotic investment. I have spoken nothing but facts about QMC and will continue to post the truth about this 'play' company as long as its compulsive gamblers continue to post to this site. If you don't want the truth, stop posting here. You should ask yourself why anyone would sell short at 12-13 pence per share. Selling short with so little to gain is not done unless the seller is at least 99% certain the price will drop.

You must care based on your previous post about QMCs rather non starter about short positions.Tdots merely responded with facts not BS.

Pardon me, tdots. You must have mistaken me for someone who cares. I recognize QMC as a desperate, drowning company doing little more than playing house. You and the other QMC supporters on this site are embarrassing yourselves to think that we care. There is little factual about QMC. In March, QMC's president stated in a letter to shareholders that it has once again had to upgrade its equipment and needs gobs of money to bring the product to market. Moreover, it is becoming clear that customization of qdots is a common requirement. I question whether the continuous flow process claimed by QMC is able to adapt to these frequent customization needs.

As far as I'm concerned, individuals that post information on rival companies on bulletin boards, are doing so entirely out of self interest.

I believe the facts as you like to state, are simply that the market for QD's is still in a state of flux, and the share prices of all public companies dealing with them reflect that.

MWWH with regard to the 3000% increase in the short interest in QMC, look at the actual numbers, not the headline.

QMC short interest went from nothing, 0.003% of the outstanding shares (10,600/349,100,675*100) to very little, 0.09% (332,200/349,100,675*100).

What's the short interest in Nanaco? 4%? That's 4000% higher than QMC's percentage of 0.1%.

Wjs - if QMC can mass produce CFQD's then that is clearly an issue for nano.Rather than put it on a shelf, why not offer your perspective on it? I am relatively new here and i haven't read back over the thousands of posts, so please excuse if this story has been done to death.

Not sure your daily propaganda constitutes keeping people 'informed' Crunch. Personally I'd much prefer to keep abreast of a competitor's developments through official channels and my own research - would concur with several others that I don't particularly wish to read about it on a Nano board and not sure why you persist in posting about it here.

"Just trying to inform people, and also agree there is plenty of market share to spread around."I agree trevorbc- it is better to stay informed. But re your point above - if the market is flooded with CFQD's then why do you think there will be plenty of market share to go around?I guess nano would take a share, but prices would nosedive.

I own nano, but interested to read about qmc. There seems to be a consensus that the market is big enough for both companies to survive. But is that true? Presumably if qmc were to flood the market with Cad free dots that's not a great outcome.

ih_16: You never answered my question. Do you own any Nanoco shares? If not, help us understand your annoying presence. I am certain that most ADVFN posters are too smart to invest in a company with Quantum Material Corp's financials. Even if QMC's over-hyped products are not vaporware, it is doubtful that a company so heavily at the mercy of its various industrial and IP partners will survive. Note that QUANTUM MATERIALS CORPORATION (OTCMKTS:QTMM) had an increase of 3033.96% in short interest. QTMM's SI was 332,200 shares in May as released ...

Not the first time I've mentioned this, but this board isn't for discussion on QMC. The standard defence that Nanoco holders post on QMC boards (where btw?) is not a justification for pumping QMC here.

No one can be 100% sure of outcome or who will grab the lions share of the market, and the current share price of both companies reflect this.

Shows your knowledge as minimal with your comments..your on the pump train now that your back in so the best you can do is wave your poms poms and repeat like a parrot everything the CEO says.Do some fact finding on BOE China and Nitto Denko before you sqwuak again..Nitto picks companies like wah hong out of their boot treads as they walk all over them..i'd say minnow is appropriate..your glorious leader says they are world leaders ? in what ?
BOE China hxxp://news.ihsmarkit.com/press-release/technology/boe-takes-first-spot-large-display-unit-shipment-ihs-markit-says

Showdown sounds great..maybe they can dust off their old LG prototype or the protypes with unknown stability they showed last at CES..generally if you have a model at CES it goes on sale the same year if it really is commercially viable..no pricing on any Nano supplied displays to date..hmmm

Crunch the problem with QMC is they are producing donkeys to pull the cart. They need a lot of them to pull the cart for a few QMC investors santas wish scenario.WH second line should be ready any day now and that has upto 100" films that's where the demand was and gaming monitors......are already begging them before the Las Vegas showdown.I see you have BOE what the hell is the Bank Of England going to do with your rip off dots?bring QD £ notes based on the best tech available ahead of Nanosys and Nanoco.QMC name should of begun with an (N) and not a Q ;)

Was more in reference to putting the cart in front of the horse.I spoke to a few higher ups fron QDV at CES and they hadnt considered scaling up product to be a mass producer of qd..They worked extra hard to build the carts but forgot about the horses to pull them and then found out their cart designs were infringing on someone else's design..thats when the sale sign went up.No carts ..no mass production of horses to pull them..no business
