10/1/2011 09:21 | Not doing much research for your 'research article' are you? Try reading all the rns's and bb comments and it is pretty clear. Also look at research notes. Good to see that lazy journalism is flourishing during these hard economic times! | goliard
08/1/2011 13:24 | Doing a research article based on the Top 100 performing shares on AIM in 2010. Can anyone give a quick summary of why this rose so much in 2010 and whether and what there were any early signs of the massive rise in share price. Thanks Moab | moab47
06/1/2011 11:59 | so little stock in free float , so anything will push it big time in either direction. still havent sold 1 share since i bought in the high 50p s wish i had a few more loike this | james111
06/1/2011 11:22 | Possibility of a takeover and an irrational market are the only things stopping me from going short. New highs being hit today with 1000p hit for the first time. Price moves in big chunks so good luck brownie, but not looking too healthy for you today! I don't think I will go short until the trend starts turning downwards. | goliard
06/1/2011 11:08 | Maybe its priced for a takeover? | irenekent
05/1/2011 16:56 | Just dipped a toe in the water on the short side. Crazy valuation let alone the CEO dumping a sizeable part of his holding in the 800's last month. One little stumble should easily see a couple of quid off the price. BTW Worldspreads let me short with no problems or delay. | brownie69
05/1/2011 16:54 | Just gone short. Crazy valuation considering CEO dumped a sizeable part of his holding in the 800's last month. All the upside built in , one little stumble should see a couple of quid off this easily. | brownie69
05/1/2011 09:35 | James - possible, but I didn't see that reported anywhere and it is still unusual as he doesn't have that large a holding. I noticed that one of the New Year tips from one of the papers was Mulberry. Saying it is the next Burberry with lots of stores opening etc. My head tells me this is overvalued, but I am not betting against this market. | goliard
05/1/2011 07:45 | goliard, i think maybe the CEOs chunk went to an institutional investor who couldnt pick up enough on the open market. we shall see James | james111
04/1/2011 22:55 | If you can find someone to short them with. IG wont take any more shorts at present - ive tried to increase my position, but they wont allow any more | goldennugget1
02/1/2011 21:45 | Priced for perfection Good short for 2011 imho | spob
02/1/2011 12:02 | tipped in telegraph share of 2011 article | rampant debra
14/12/2010 09:21 | And I have only just noticed that the CEO sold a big chunk of his shares for about 850p a couple of days ago. | goliard
13/12/2010 16:02 | And still it keeps rising. | goliard
13/12/2010 15:52 | Agree totally guys, however this one just defies logic, and of course there is the what if factor. what would be needed to take over the company, what would the share price be if more than one company wanted it. wouldnt like to be short in that situation. | james111
10/12/2010 09:52 | Big Fella - I have gone through similar calculations. I have also added in higher margins too and get £8 as fair value if they have perfect performance. Agreed re short, but my worry is another luxury retiler with cash deciding that this is a good investment. At what point to I take my chances? £10? | goliard
10/12/2010 09:23 | agreed jonno, I wonder how many of them have balls for a second bite | james111
10/12/2010 09:16 | ...I would have thought this move is shorts having to close, must have got killed this week | jonno1
09/12/2010 17:30 | IG wont accept no more shorts on this - they are clearly expecting a heavy drop. | goldennugget1
09/12/2010 09:23 | Well done to those that held. 5 years ago, who would have thought this would have reached these dizzy heights - going the same way as ASOS it seems and a target for takeover. | clocktower
09/12/2010 09:08 | Ok, fantastic rise, but all news out in the open now time to short big time just wait for it to turnover | spob
08/12/2010 07:57 | Well done James. I would hang in there and keep each new £1 increase as my base to sell on a dip, ie sell if it goes below £8, but if it moves above £9 then use that instead. Remarkable recovery in fortunes! | goliard
08/12/2010 07:45 | I see its tipped in quantum leap as a buy - talking about it as if its just at the beginning of its upward path, rather than having got there. The next Burberry. Can't somehow see the chavs swinging £700 handbags from their shoulders though! | irenekent |
