Well folks I looked at MUL at around £3 a shares and thought
very impressive but a lot already in the price - just a little too
cautious on that view!.

I was looking to take a long position, no interest in shorting.

Got to say congrats to those who read this better and have enjoyed some
of the incredible rise - well done.

... and now a share price over £21 and a market cap of £1.2 billion. I bet the directors are as surprised as everyone else. Incredible run this is having and it seems impossible to bet against.

Directors keep selling their existing holdings and not taking up options in shares and preferring cash. Despite this we still have strong results and back towards a £20 share price. Can this brand really be worth over £1 billion?

They still have a long way to go to justify the current share price but what an exciting share.

Good but cautious result. Maybe they should split the shares to give a bit more liquidity.

Why can't I get a short with IG Index? 'Borrowing limits on the shares' or some rubbish. This has to be one of the best short options around at the moment. A PE of 50 plus, China slowing down, Burberry getting hit.. why can't I profit from that? Does it mean the price is being held at this level artificially? Has Evil Knievel borrowed all the spare stock?

For example I think even the banks are a safer bet, LLOY and RBS at over a 50% discount unless you think theyre going bust and the oil majors are up to 50% oversold too and much much safer. We need oil more than handbags, BP at less than 400 is a steal. 600 within 12 months is a 50% profit! Be careful.

And if you need any proof about what happens when a companys valuation gets out of hand take a look at the 5 year graph of TAN. All it took was one negative update to start the fall that sent that of a cliff.

Cant believe people are seeing this as a buying opportunity!! Still way overvalued! There are much safer oversold shares out there.

How annying, about 20 minutes ago attempted to buy with the offer at 1397, unfortunately about 3 people had the same idea about 10 seconds before me and the offer was up to 1455 before I could do anything.

Would have been one of the best trades I've ever done in % terms, in at 1916 on 25/7. Only for a small quantity, wish I'd done more of course.

Anyway, staying short now.
