13/7/2012 13:00 | They are not going to spend £1b for this - more likely to wait until the valuation is around £3/500M. | clocktower
13/7/2012 12:25 | I don't see the directors selling. All the sales seem to be retail punters dragged in by tip sheets like Quantum Leap and others. Many invested probably prior to results on T30 trades. They will have lost a lot of money. I wonder how long before LVMH or similar make a bid. If they merge the champagne division with Diageo they are going to have a bit of money flying about. | irenekent
09/7/2012 13:47 | The next trading statement will shape the future I expect. | clocktower
09/7/2012 12:53 | A nice down day here - down 8% to £13.46. £10 here we come. | buffett100bln
25/6/2012 13:08 | Yep, it is. This still trades on a high 35 times earnings. It can easily drop to £12 from here, no problem. I would maintain you will see this back at SUB £10 before any sustainable increase. The crash is yet to come - but come it will before the next round of massive QE. | buffett100bln
25/6/2012 12:20 | We do not need this thread to decend to viper comments but it is good to see the share price coming down to earth. | clocktower
17/6/2012 14:25 | "wealth creation to be made today" - buying after a profit warning is a certain way to lose unlimited amounts of hard cold cash. "I have been working you out" - haha just because am not commenting on the lie that you are an "ex trader" doesnt mean your cracker has worked. You've got an IQ of 2. Pitty it takes 3 to grunt. | aleks_atanasov

15/6/2012 09:26 | it is wrong to have a position before the event nobody can predict the future. am not saying more because that would be propriety information and against my interest. what is wrong if you read a book or two about the market structure, and this is it nothing more can be absorbed from there. how else am going to know how it works ... am not more stupid than you! | aleks_atanasov
15/6/2012 08:58 | Very interesting - but old news now aleks | davehowl

14/6/2012 19:35 | Correction - look at thread Mulberry - Short the berries off it - FD resigns and sells shares (MUL) from 2007. It's a cracking read! A certain déjà vu about it and then we all know what happened after. It picked up! | davehowl |
