23/7/2009 10:11 | UK retail sales jump 1.2% in June :-) Way ahead of what was expected. July 23 (Bloomberg) -- U.K. retail sales jumped four times as much as economists forecast in June as signs of improvement in the economy and discounts encouraged shoppers to buy more food and clothing. Sales climbed 1.2 percent from May, when they dropped 0.9 percent, the Office for National Statistics said today in London. Economists predicted a 0.3 percent increase, the median of 28 forecasts in a Bloomberg News survey shows. From a year earlier, sales rose 2.9%................ | cockneyrebel
16/7/2009 11:20 | Must be an RNS from the co soon re who bought that 7% imo - there was two trades identical size so the stock wasn't split. The guy that keeps picking up 20k ahead of the mm's is there looking to buy still too. CR | cockneyrebel

10/7/2009 16:23 | moved the bid up they want stock | janekane
10/7/2009 12:59 | I am very happy with this as the share price has doubled over the last couple of months and we have director buying I do not need to ramp this up the share price speaks for its self and the trading on the 9th just adds to the enthusiasm Any way we will see but I have every confidence that a bid is in the wings | janekane
10/7/2009 12:21 | I've not been buying this for a bid, tho one would obviously be welcome. The combination of Berwin & Brick is a formidable one here imo and I reckon it's Berwin that has got Brick to take the CEO role imo. Interims in September should be interesting imo. CR | cockneyrebel
10/7/2009 11:26 | LOL Rigsby and the conditions can be anything eg 180 day settlement. maybe its conditional on baugur coming out of receivership? I think it is a book transfer If that was an institutional trade it would have been a K trade unless someone is deliberately ramping up the SP | sipp_2005
10/7/2009 10:53 | look at the trade type in column c its a c trade see my post 2 on the other thread | janekane
10/7/2009 10:49 | how do you know there's conditions attached jk? CR | cockneyrebel
10/7/2009 10:45 | CR yes I agree the trade has conditions attached IE if a bid materialises as a result of this transaction then retrospective payment will be due | janekane
10/7/2009 10:36 | I'm not so sue Sipp - it is marked 'b' so it's a broker to broker trade from where I'm looking. the sort of indicator you get when you agree a deal off market with someone and it gets put through a broker. I've had it when dealing stock between myself and others off market tho as you say it could also be a move from say one account to another. Credit Ag have 8.08% which equates around 7.63m - pretty much spot on that number. I cannot see how Credit S. moving stock in there accounts needs to go through a broker - but we'll see. My bet is they have sold their entire stake - should get an RNS in the next few days if so. CR | cockneyrebel
10/7/2009 10:21 | now now jw keep it clean you should think about putting some of your 2.4 million in this little gem lets face it your protege isn't exactly performing its a shame that but China is going through a tough time unemployment is rife with out social security I used to think it was a good bet but events prove that wrong any way must go by by | janekane

10/7/2009 09:08 | nice buy there cr you will make good money on that one | janekane
10/7/2009 08:44 | 8% of the co traded last night - looks like two way trades showing so it's the buy and sell - looks like Credit Ag have sold their 8% stake to someone :-) Just had another few myself. CR | cockneyrebel |
