Should be a very good steady recovery story here. Although there are higher lending risks now, they have an increased ability to cherry pick customers because of the fall-out that other businesses have suffered.

At best might be a gradual recovery in earnings and then a 'surprise' jump when the digital losses are no longer present. If they can get the same customer volumes as previously, then somewhere north of 12p earnings should be possible in a couple of years - that is a big upside.

Plus of course, buying down here, the dividend would be a very nice yield in future.

Digital being a drag is fine and expected, the fact they were still actually profitable with its losses is great, so if it starts to be breakeven in around 2-14 months time then we should see a nice healthy uplift in profit.Unless something goes terribly wrong then I'd expect the FY 22 results to be showing eps of 6+, and after that digital will be adding as opposed to detracting which is even better. Also have a nice asset base to fall back on, £50m of tangible assets is v helpful. Its the main reason ZYT has had a great few months, just has most of its market cap in cash - I don't hold though

No surprises as most the key metrics were already in the public domain. These results are the throw away Covid figures and its all about a recovery into 2021 and the growth of the digital. MCL seem to think they now have the digital platform all but complete and have repeated breakeven expectations within next financial year starting in February 21.

Frankly just getting digital anywhere close to breakeven let alone profit will act as a huge catalyst. The div reinstatement is mostly symbolic but points to a wider narrative that MCL have performed in a robust manner thorough out Covid.

For me this is a complete play on a covid recovery into next year with the growth of digital as the cherry on top and the risk/reward still looks really compelling. Will look through figures over the weekend.

Virtually zero notice of announcing results.

There's something about this company that just doesn't quite feel kosher.
