05/12/2020 19:24 | Pol Roger personally! Ps. Just had a first (for a long time) for supper.....Speakeasy peas! I'm bullish on Morses. Have good tiered week-end peeps!!!!!!! | eggbaconandbubble
05/12/2020 18:33 | yump, Good point on Head of Digital! As to the new CFO, he does have experience of complex accounting and understands the scene. Though he is tarnished by working for BrightHouse. The previous CFO lasting nine months in such a vital role, in a sub prime finance company, creates deep uncertainty. | simon gordon
05/12/2020 18:09 | Egg, Bacon and a bottle of Krug! Should see strong weeks and months ahead here. Many have eyes on this. | albert arthur
05/12/2020 17:55 | Appointing a head of digital to develop it and then hand over to an administrative type at some point is cheaper than using a consultant or outside agency. At least he appears to be a doer. At least the new CFO will know what not to do ! | yump
05/12/2020 17:53 | I'd like to see these characters buying a meaningful slice of the action before I weighed in too heavily. On the face of it not people I'd trust further than I could spit! AIMOO OC! | eggbaconandbubble
05/12/2020 11:32 | Potentially Will close next week 70-80p possibly | kirk 6
05/12/2020 10:19 | 95p - double bubble and a slice of black pudding!! | eggbaconandbubble
05/12/2020 10:19 | The CFO who suddenly departed in March, Andrew Hayward, is now at K2 Mobility. He was only CFO at Morses for nine months. Prior to joining he was at the crummy eServeGlobal and before that Hurricane Energy. Plenty of PLC experience but not heavy duty or high win companies. Here's his profile on Linkedin: K2 Mobility: - Does anyone know why he left? The share went sub 20p the day it was announced. | simon gordon
05/12/2020 08:48 | 95p does that make it eggbaconand DOUBLE bubble..... sorry | riddlerone
05/12/2020 08:10 | By when??? | eggbaconandbubble
04/12/2020 20:38 | The head of digital expansion, Gary Marshall, who joined in July 2019 has had an interesting career trajectory, done a lot of Interim sessions, was COO at Egg for four years. Here's his Linkedin profile: RNS from MCL - July 2019: Gary will be responsible for leading the integration and development of the digital product offering for Shelby Finance to deliver a range of products, based on customer demand. This will include the continued consolidation of the recent acquisitions of CURO Transatlantic Limited and U Holdings Limited. His focus will be in ensuring that the platform, product range and service to customers are best in class as we continue to develop our online offerings in agency banking and credit. Gary was most recently Interim COO of Sainsbury's Bank, a role he held for almost two years, with a focus on IT, information security, operations and business change. Prior to this, he held various roles at Aviva plc, including Interim COO of Aviva Ireland and Interim Managing Director of Aviva Life & Pensions Ireland. Gary has wide ranging financial services experience, having worked at senior levels in organisations including Egg plc, GE Capital, Aon Ltd, Abbey National Plc and Northern Rock. He has extensive expertise in both developing and delivering digitized product offerings, with significant customer-focused experience often in challenging regulatory and market conditions. | simon gordon
04/12/2020 17:02 | Massive upside here next week. Great intraday candlestick set up for a blast into the 50s next week | kirk 6
04/12/2020 16:59 | They've had a hell of a year: -Covid -CFO abruptly departs -Wirecard implosion -New loan facility -2020 Prelims delayed nine months -Weak shareholder base This could be one of the great post Covid recovery and growth plays in UK small cap land. | simon gordon
04/12/2020 16:39 | Well that worked out nicely. Price has popped through the 44p offer at the time of previous post and through the 45p resistance to make the breakout and next leg higher. Price has broken out and closed up 12% at 47.6p, on heavy volume too. Chart looking more bullish and hopefully setting up for a replica of the move in April earlier this year. Too bullish? Reign it in man, reign it in! | sphere25
04/12/2020 16:36 | Good close 47.60. Until next week | sbb1x
04/12/2020 16:12 | Well they can't get the money from amgo. So mcl must be getting more business! | sbb1x
04/12/2020 16:10 | Exclusive: Londoners take out 133 per cent more payday loans to cover Christmas costs hxxps://www.cityam.c is this good for Morses? | farrugia

04/12/2020 15:44 | diku, I didn't know that, very interesting. I wonder if that is because there is so little broker guidance therefore an insider kind of always has inside information if there is no market guidance? I don't mean legally, but just would put them in a difficult place if when guidance recommences the share price jumps up and they make as killing. Just a thought. | madmaxhunter
04/12/2020 15:37 | MadMax, Yes, that thought has crossed my mind since making that post. It's a peculiar situation. | simon gordon
04/12/2020 15:25 | Don't know what others think not just here but in general insiders are not actively buying shares within their companies... | diku
04/12/2020 15:20 | Simon - "One thing that's a bit of an anomaly is that the BoD never buy shares. The last transaction was July 2017 when the CEO sold 300K in a divorce settlement. Down here, you'd think they'd be filling their boots" Surely they can't buy. I thought Directors could not buy or sell stocks between the end of a reporting period and the results announcement related to that period. If I am right then they haven't been able to buy since 29th February and still can't buy until the H1 results are out as it is after end August. | madmaxhunter |
