Ron, no offence. You have 3 followers, you've been on ADVFN since 2006 and still here. Whatever you say, as much as your opinion counts... I take as bad advice. Have a good weekend all.

Saw you somewhere else and just realised why I recognised the username - so filtered now - waste of space just intent on making some sort of pointless point and then defending it.

Im fairly certain your not going to get a premier league footballer taking a doorstep loan. The macro is important, as it will affect the jobs and repayments of the people who have borrowed the money, especially if its mainly working class people. Hence why this has been sold off.

Plus reading the trading update, its not clear if digital has cut its loss, improved or ???? People need clarity on digital as its going to be a big driver going forward. The big loss from digital is a year old now, people need more up to date info. Looking forward to the half year results.

ADVFN is not the centre of the investing world, so I don't often give a monkey's about what anyone on here is doing.

The only time it seems to matter is when a share has spiked and highly rated, when the vast majority are saying they are topping up, which seems to be a good sell signal.

When to buy is a totally different matter. Very few posters say they are buying when shares appear to have bottomed out, apart from those who are going to trade what they are guessing will be a bounce, but have no idea about the business.

The loan book is way, way more complicated than just a simple guess at who is in it.

Thats fair enough yump, going from a period of free trade to one with multiple tariffs. The car makers are only in the uk because we have tariff free entry into the eu market. Nissan make cars in Sunderland for the EU, they have said it will be uneconomical under new deal.

What sort of jobs do you think the people in the morses/shopacheck loan book have, id take a good stab there arent many doctors etc.

This is going lower on no deal, where i will then buy. Most on here are already selling half to buy back later, they just dont tell you they are doing it.

The smart money buys on unexpected “catastrophic” events, such as covid earlier, the sudden acceptance of sub-prime issues, 1998 bank crisis, 2003 etc etc.

When the worst is already half expected, its not the same. Uncertainty is supposedly what spooks the markets.

What if the combination of the vaccine and the certainty of going it alone using wto rules, causes bullish reaction ?

I first bought at 30p, I don't think you will see under 40p. Also, In reference to you saying "Smart Money sold yesterday" I see it as, smart money positioned in things that won't be affected by Brexit (Treatments etc,FDA and news imminent)... I placed half funds on a liquid asset bench, bought things that will do well out of a Brexit deal, things that won't be affected.. You see, to make money in this game, you have to be diverse.. and cater for all sectors and outcomes... I see us consolidating at these levels before takeoff. I'm long here, not trading.
