With the movement in the euro/gbp rate, that equates to a drop of 4.5%.

Pity the yield is so poor at 2% but it is up by a factor of 13 since the low of January 2009.

Trading statement well received.

Mondi is currently finalising its results for the half year ended 30 June 2015,
which will be released on 6 August 2015. It can now be confirmed that underlying operating profit for the half year ended 30 June 2015 is expected to
be above that of the comparable prior year period of EUR377 million.

Accordingly, Mondi advises that it expects earnings per share (EPS) for the
half year ended 30 June 2015 to be within the ranges shown below:

* basic underlying EPS (euro cents) 65 to 70 (2014 51.9), an increase of
between 25% and 35%

* basic EPS (euro cents) 57 to 62 (2014 48.6), an increase of between 17% and
28%

* basic headline EPS (euro cents) 57 to 62 (2014 48.3), an increase of
between 18% and 28%

Huge UT volume 19.7 million today, reason being added to the MSCI Global Standard Indexes effective at close today. Many European tracker funds use the MSCI to regulate their funds.

I think the good results were predictable after January's price movement. An insider obviously had prior knowledge as they went to press.

I missed reading the final results yesterday but obviously well received by the market. Well ahead and passed 1291 Fib target, next target 1480.

Final dividend of 28.77 euro cents per share, bringing the total dividend for the year to 42.0 euro cents per share, an increase of 17% payable on 21 May 2015 to shareholders on the register on 24 April 2015.

Ther is the expected Trading Statement. Market reaction pushed share price to a new ATH at the open.

"It can now be confirmed that underlying operating profit for the year ended 31 December 2014 is expected to be above that achieved in 2013."

year ended 31 December 2014 to be within the ranges shown below:

* basic earnings per share (euro cents) 96-99 (2013 79.8), increasing between
20% and 24%

* basic headline earnings per share (euro cents) 98-101 (2013 91.3),

* basic underlying earnings per share (euro cents) 106-109 (2013 95.0),
increasing between 12% and 15%"

Pushing ahead quite nicely in the run-up to results, due 24 Feb.

Remember they normally have a trading update 8-10 days before the results so maybe Tuesday or Wednesday they will announce something.

1291 target affirmed now that the share price is over 1174.5.
