15/1/2024 16:14 | Once we break and hold 90.8 then it’s a quick run to 105. I do hope that those who locked in profits, or sold for a retrace or opened a short, are able to buy back in. ................... and a nice UT to end the day. | toby hall

15/1/2024 09:33 | We are 3 months into that expected 6 month process. Clearly the Cosmens are getting ready and expect value to be released or at very least have a strong voice in the decisions made on sale. They will not want it sold unless it genuinely | chester9
15/1/2024 09:29 | With thanks to smokeytime on LSEFrom update in October Ignacio Garat, CEO of Mobico, announced last Thursday the decision to begin the process of divestment of that business, which operates a fleet of the famous yellow vehicles, which serve schools located in about 30 states.Market sources indicate that Mobico has signed the investment bank Goldman Sachs as advisor and coordinator of the process. It will have the support of Bank of America, the group's regular strategic advisor. The operation could last half a year: after preparing the sales notebook and formulating the first round of offers, the candidates must carry out an extensive operational, accounting and legal review of the subsidiary (due diligence) before formulating binding proposals.Analysts consider that, taking into account previous transactions in the sector, the operation could be between 1,500 and 2,000 million dollars (1,400 to 1,900 million euros). Jefferies analyst Matthew Copeland points out that the sale could reduce the group's net debt from 4.1 to 2.5 times annual EBITDA. | chester9

15/1/2024 09:07 | North America made just 13.8m in H1, a sale wouldn’t go anywhere near wiping out debt, perhaps a 50% debt reduction, but that would come at the cost of almost 50% of annual revenue | trader465

12/1/2024 09:08 | About £160k. Hence why they want to sell their North American bus contract. It’s always been a debt heavy company because it’s so capex intensive but always made good net profits due to their pricing power and ability to manage their own margins. | warrenbuffet73

11/1/2024 14:12 | “Edwards Coaches has announced details of a huge fleet investment plan. It will result in the arrival of 86 new coaches in an investment of over £32 million as the South Wales business observes “a positive outlook in 2024.” The bulk of that total is accounted for by 68 Caetano Levante 3A models built on tri-axle Scania chassis that will be deployed on Edwards’ National Express services. That represents a spend of £25.7 million” | trader465
