LOTM you have a short memory. A little over 12 months ago you invested and sold the story on other BBs while I cautioned that the audit would need a cash injection and you said it was BS and phevs even said break even near. A little while later you were on here and advfn apologising after a 40% discounted raise announced. Anyway, we'll see if history repeats. I suspect Dr Milner has a better view than you and he like the other TR1s were selling. No IIs buying, no director buys and the lack of material RNSs means they could have been buying. You need to learn re closed periods and material news. |
No LL your trying to argue that they are saying they will get the run rate down to £667K per month at some point later in the year & thus an implied £8M per year rate.
The document specifically said "the expected cost base for FY2025 is approximately £8m for the year" meaning £8M for 2025.
But that doesn't fit your narrative.
We were according to you to have a raise in Q4, then it was to be in Jan 2025, then in Q1 .....
Since you didn't even bother to read the document - you haven't got a clue what it actually says about funding or anything else!
Or the circumstances as to how the document came about in the 1st place.
I guess you've filled your agenda by getting it pushed down the list & out of peoples sight. Until its revised again with another section added to it.
LOTM |
The cost base so £8m pa but that just means in the year costs will be £667k a month but when that happens who knows. If say Q3 it's reduced to £667k that means the costs pa are £8m. Do you get it?!Who remembers last year when LOTM came on here apologising for getting others to invest when large discount raise announced. Same again within 2 months? |
You can't have it both ways LL, if the cost is £8M for the year & you're arguing that the monthly rate is going to be higher than £667K per month at the start of 2025, then to get to a figure of £8M then the monthly cost has to be lower than £667K for some month's as well.
The quote from the trading update in full
"As previously noted, substantial progress has been made on cost-saving initiatives. The cash cost base for the last quarter of FY2024 was approximately £750k per month, and the expected cost base for FY2025 is approximately £8m for the year. Cash at the year-end stood at just under £4.8m, reflecting disciplined financial management."
LOTM |
They said the costs will be £8m pa but they did not say when they will achieve that ie they could get to £667k costs in H2. Q4 last year the costs were £2.25m or £9m pa. |
Nice to see LL (Tickboo) back trying to push there same narrative as always.
They have no credibility here.
Lets see, couldn't be bothered to actually read the document & clearly can't workout by there own admission that 3 x £667K = £2M per quarter or the said £8M per year.
Says it all really.
LOTM |
FYI as at Dec 31 2023 they had £6.1m cash and as at Dec 31 2024 they had £4.8m. Yes costs have been reduced but unless revenues a lot higher they need cash. No material RNSs so that's why Milner and others have been selling. They reduced cash burn to £750k a month in Q4 and this year the costs will come down to £8m but who knows when the monthly burn rate will be down to £667K. Anyway, I may be wrong but look at last year when the share price was increasing and bang the 40% discounted raise RNS came. |
Ended up buying another 2.15M shares today, new plan is to hold 22.5M long term, trade the rest to eventually get to 25M for the long term & a 2.5M (10% of it) parcel for trading it. Funds generated from trading at that point will be going into other stocks to diversify more.

Hi jon389,
I certainly wouldn't say well done, as my average price isn't good at all 0.49p, but it is what it is, I still haven't traded a single Mirriad share yet, but do intend to do so with a parcel of them.
I & I think several others on the list are looking for several pence over the next 2 years. So unless things change dramatically 20M will be my core holding at least.
Best to check-out LSE with regard to Mirriad as that's where 2phevs posts & they are the best research on the company!
I am writing an Investment case document for someone & I will post it here when its finished! but it's taking longer than expected because I can't work out some of Allenby's numbers & how they arrived at them!

sorry that post was directed at LOTM |
LOTM well done to accumulate that amount I take it you are very optimistic for considerable appreciation in the price with that holding ? |
Joeblog1000 & brothers make it to the 1M share mark congrats! :)

Now I'm going to try & put that in context for everyone new, it is highly unusual for MTH or anyone else at Mirriad to make such a post in the 45 weeks since I first knew of Mirriads existence.
As far as I know (& I'm pretty sure 2phevs will back this up) prior to the start of 2025 GM was not even a partner of Mirriads! (it's name never appeared on any sizzle reels or anywhere else - it Ford & Tesla were about the only auto names that didn't actually use VPP).
Then tonight MTH puts GM front & center alongside P&G ! (quite astonishing really).
And if that wasn't astonishing enough for you all to take in, you now have proof that WBD is one of Mirriad's content partners.
Which now makes it pretty safe to say, there is your proof that what Katie Coteman, Warner Bros. Discovery, UK & Ireland said in a panel discussion on 7th Jan 2025 4 mins 40 sec to 6 mins 30
Did in fact involve Mirriad & not any other provider !
Totally vindicating 2phevs linkedin research.
So I'm really going to stick my neck out & say this to you all, I would now expect Mirriad to be one of the best performing shares of both 2025 & 2026.
And if your really luck & you've read this & there isn't an RNS in the morning, then you can fill your boots knowing that VPP is taking off big time with both the big content providers & the massive content spenders all over it. Knocking the doors down to do it at scale & just waiting on the Programmatic solution going live.

 This was 2phevs post ....
"Well Well MTH just confirmed P&G GM together with WBD and Oprah Winfrey Network have been doing VPP utilising Mirriad this was all discussed at a panel yesterday morning before a dinner in the evening

As we move through the final days of Black History Month, I couldn’t think of a better way to start the week than by celebrating the power of inclusive media, particularly within Black storytelling, and the strength of community within the Black experience.
Yesterday was a reflection of that. I had the privilege of participating in two powerful conversations that reinforced why intentional investment in Black voices, Black media, and Black communities isn’t just necessary… it’s impactful, scalable, and long overdue.
I kicked off the day at the Carat Innovation Summit, where I joined Sheereen Miller-Russell, Kerry Doyle and Elizabeth Cambridge for a discussion on how brands are showing up in content in ways that are seamless, authentic, and built for scale. We highlighted two incredible Mirriad partners: General Motors and Procter & Gamble who are using Virtual Product Placement (VPP) to drive incremental reach and impact within inclusive media, with a special spotlight on our work within Warner Bros. Discovery and OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network content. Their commitment proves that isn’t just about representation, it’s about real business impact. Huge thanks to Michael Liu and Bin Wu for the opportunity.
Later, I had the privilege of co-hosting 212NYC New York's Digital Advertising Club’s Black History Month panel, where we explored something just as critical- the power of community within the Black community. This wasn’t just about media; it was about connection, shared experiences, and how we uplift and support one another in this industry and beyond. A huge thank you to our incredible panelists for bringing their insights, passion, and truth to the stage:
✨ Rhonesha Byng
✨ Melissa Robinson-Brown, PhD
✨ Warren K. Graham, Ph.D candidate, LCSW, ACSW, Master CASAC
✨ Joshua Ott
✨ Deidre Smalls-Landau
✨ Geraldine White (GOAT moderator ❤️)
And of course, a special shoutout to my DEI committee, led by Monique Braham-Evans and Deva Bronson for bringing this conversation to life in such a meaningful way.
Both of these discussions reinforced a simple truth: Black voices matter. Black investment matters. Black community matters. And while Black History Month may be wrapping up, the work must continue every single day to ensure these voices, stories, and communities are not just included, but prioritized.
