24/12/2021 10:01 | Good finds as ever Will. Shore Cap does seem hungry for stock. It does seem that MIN's time has finally come, it's been a very long time awaited. I hope that doesn't put the mockers on it. I recollect Christopher saying he intended to communicate much more regularly in an rns earlier in the year. No doubt he has been awaiting the development law going on the statute amongst other things. Happy Christmas to all. | nick2412
24/12/2021 09:12 | SWOT Expands Portfolio with 5 New Hotels to Open in Greece in 2022 SWOT Hospitality announced the addition of five new hotels – located in popular Greek destinations – to its portfolio in 2022, taking the number of units under its management to 25. Based in Athens and a certified partner of major international hotel brands such as Marriott International, Accor and Nikki Beach, SWOT specializes in the management and development of tourism real estate/investment projects and offers sales, marketing and consulting services to hotels. Speaking during a media briefing on Wednesday, SWOT Hospitality CEO Panos Constantinidis said the company’s portfolio aims to include hotels located in landmark destinations. “We want the hotels that we include in our portfolio to be on landmark destinations… to be luxurious, modern and have lifestyle concepts,” Constantinidis told journalists while introducing the company’s plans for 2022. | wi1l
24/12/2021 09:03 | Strong increase in house prices Residential property prices have risen considerably over the last three years in Greece despite the onset of the pandemic, as the average rates in Athens are now 30-32% higher than in 2018, while in Thessaloniki they have climbed 21-25%, in the other major cities they have grown 9-14% and in the rest of the country by 10-16%. | wi1l
24/12/2021 07:27 | Thanks, that explains it. | tim000
24/12/2021 07:06 | I think Bob Adama was a close friend of Christopher Eggleton. | atlantic57
24/12/2021 05:05 | Lesley Ann Adams was married to the late Rio Tinto senior executive, Bob Adams. Amazing what you can find out on the internet! | tim000
24/12/2021 03:39 | I haven’t been able to find out anything about Lesley Ann Adams and why she has a significant holding in MIN, other than she resides at a very expensive property near Lords in London! | tim000
24/12/2021 03:30 | Martin James Gilbert and Ismail Ghandour together are controlling members of the concert party (ie in aggregate are entitled to more than 50% of the assets of DAGG upon its winding up). So presumably they have provided most of the loan funds to MIN (currently about £1.3mn) and will benefit most from the 35 mn warrants issued to DAGG @ 1.4p (and which expire next May), plus 15 mn shares issued to DAGG recently. | tim000
24/12/2021 03:10 | I’ve been looking into DAGG LLP. It seems to consist of four individuals: Nicholas John Day (10.2% holding and Director of Loyalward); Mrs Lesley Ann Adams (holds 16 mn shares, with another 7 mn in a family trust); Martin James Gilbert (co-founder and one-time CEO of Aberdeen Asset Management); and Ismail Ghandour (CEO of Ace Liberty & Stone, an AQSE listed property development company). So there are some big hitters in the concert party, who know something about business and property development, and no doubt are influential with the Greek authorities. | tim000
23/12/2021 19:51 | Nice positive day, feeling bullish anout this for Q1 and my portfolio of 2 companies could have a very good Q1…..or I could be out in the shed for a few months 🤣 Was lucky the other day with my top up - set the buy for 1.16 and it filled at 1.08! | finster007
23/12/2021 17:48 | Only 3 trading days left, including tomorrow till the end of the year. | waterloo01
23/12/2021 17:45 | The trading days between Boxing Day are often skewed by low volume transactions having an adverse impact on share prices. In the case of min the announcement in respect of the roll over of options will add an extra factor . | atlantic57
23/12/2021 17:22 | Closed next Monday and Tuesday. | tim000
23/12/2021 16:41 | Yes, I think TW swapped a reasonably bullish stance from MIN to KEFI prior to their placing and awarding of, in effect, 0.5p shares for the CEO in lieu of salary. Enough said. | nick2412
23/12/2021 16:28 | It would certainly be a surprise. iman1974, absolutely but some will trade and a they need a bit of volume to get the MM interested. Edit: Behind this however must be a decent sized order, as yet unfilled? It rose for most of the day before any prints! | waterloo01
23/12/2021 16:24 | I can’t see T W tipping this he gave a very negative webcast on the Company a few weeks ago. | atlantic57
23/12/2021 16:22 | If people could only manage to hold for a little while days like today we could have a really significant move | iman1974
23/12/2021 16:22 | I hope they seriously regret that sale. DC | daicaprice
23/12/2021 16:19 | And WHI have retreated back into obscurity 1.00 /1.50. | wi1l
23/12/2021 16:13 | And then some bedwetter sells 500k ! | iman1974
23/12/2021 16:06 | Has it been tipped by clocktower? | nick2412
23/12/2021 16:03 | Very interesting movements today lets hope something solid is behind this and not just manipulation ahead of another Christmas placing. We have had a few of them in the past and quite seasonal to stuff MIN shareholders along with the Turkey. Only one thing worse and that would be a TW Christmas tip .. | cityfarmer
23/12/2021 16:01 | Well for some unknown reason they are on the ropes this afternoon, a couple more buys and all holders to hold their nerve and keep hold of their shares and we could see a nice close into the holiday. | iman1974
23/12/2021 15:54 | WHI upped onto the bid at 1.20 looking to buy and their marker for selling is 1.70! | wi1l
23/12/2021 15:46 | Can’t even get a quote for 10k online… | nobbygnome |
