Spread has tightened might suggest more of a real market?

The land in the deal above is almost on the Turkish boarder, and not the same sort of value as Island properties, but still shows money is around to invest in tourism.

Another parcel of land sold:

Alexander Haditaghi is highest bidder for Nea Iraklitsa property

Alexander Haditaghi was declared the highest bidder for the development of a coastal land parcel in Nea Iraklitsa near Kavala, following e-Auction IX, the Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund (HRADF) said on Tuesday.

The total consideration is 18.5 million euros. The starting price was set at 9.1 million euros, and the financial offer is 103.3% higher, HRADF said.

The parcel of land includes two coastal properties sharing borders, totalling 14973 hectares (149,733 stremmas). The land is level, faces the bay of Kavala on the mainland and the eastern coast of Thassos island. It has direct access to Egnatia Odos national highway and the old Thessaloniki-Kaval National Highway, with the coastal road of Nea Iraklitsa-Kavala traversing its western limit.

If only it was that easy to second guess what the trades are, or the state of play in general.

Good Luck and Seasons Greetings to all.

Aha! Someones doing a very good job of hoodwinking us perhaps. Had it really been the first trade of the day at 8.28am the 500K @ 1.102p would have led us believe (because of the price)it was a sale. However, look closely at the times of the next trades especially after 9.26am, the first trade of the day was actually shown next at 8.26am a sale 750k @ 1.02p. Take that into account and the 500K has been correctly reported as a buy.....and not as thought in the first instance as a sale!!!!!!! FWIW - Happy Xmas! (will shut up now)

Will your post is logical.

The larger investors would surely have much more detailed information to hand and would surely not be selling at this point.

Still not completely convinced that 3M after hours trade at mid price was a sell for a number of reasons, the main one being the price paid 1.1p - I am quite sure if I wanted to sell 3M relatively uninteresting (at this stage) shares the price to take them off my hands would be well below the bid price and that was 1p.

Its the wrong time to sell now, just before a mountain (we hope) of news early January and that makes it the right time to buy, IMV.

Yesterday the MM's upped their interest in purchasing shares looking for plus 1M on-line, that seems contrary to a large sell order going through where generally the shutters go down to any on-line selling.

My theory, and I realise I am in the minority, the broker selling had held over shares he bought in November, prices ranging from 0.85p to 0.95p. Turning quite a profit if it was those bought at 0.85p -

Sale proceeds 3m at 1.1p = £33,000

Cost 3M at 0.85p = £25,500

Profit on this trade = £7,500.

Thats not too bad a return?? IMV

From memory Dc, they have been getting more involved recently but that said they were at the bottom of the pile for many weeks, so compared to that they are more in the mix now, nothing special though.

Anyone know any WHI quotes over the last week, or where they’ve been sitting?
They would have been pushing for a placing the minute we qualified for one getting over 1p, it hasn’t happened as far as I’m aware, hence my confidence in adding the last week or so.
Spivs of the highest order and forward sellers of renown in my experience.

1.1p definitely a worked sell over a few days I’d guess, the fact that they were offering 1.15p this afternoon should mean that they are now back looking for shares.
The timing of that size a sell is baffling with what I suspect/hope is a great line of updates due in the New Year.
The price was all over the place today but I suspect WHI knew they were coming.

If it was a sell ?

Why would you sell when it would appear that we are weeks away from a major uprate in the share price

It makes no sense to me.

But was it a sell?? activity this afternoon suggests otherwise. MM's looking to buy in excess of 1M online suggests to me they had a buyer lined up.....
What do you reckon DC?

It's just under 0.5% of the company so a reasonable sized chunk. Let's hope it's the end of someone selling as in Nortic's mantra!

No idea who it might be, but in light of the price the last few days, they have been absorbed OK.

It's also an odd number which might suggest someone exiting (I think Nortic talked about that)
