Yes they are paying 1.32 for sells now so I just can't understand why they haven;t moved the bid up to 1.30.

Agreed, but it is encouraging that there are still four market makers on the bid and only one on the ask despite that 200k sell.

And the spread is still ridiculous. Even a small amount is 1.4298 to buy. The MMs are not taking any chances here...

I might be a buyer if they offer a reasonable price. That sort of spread is ridiculous especially when the true offer is only just below the screen price.

And since I completed the above post Shore Capital have just moved off the ask onto the bid so the ask has now ticked up to 1.45. The bid must surely tick up soon unless a decent sized sell emerges.

Resistance is crumbling here with three market makers now on the bid at 1.20 and only Shore Capital left on the ask at 1.40

Oh... and as I type someone has just paid 1.4398 for 250k. Time must be running down for such a premium to be paid.
