While we wait for our BoD to pull their finger out here's one you may or may not like to keep an eye on Distil (Dis)they do have a good management team ☺ not saying it's going to fly but there is a good chance to make a nice profit over the coming weeks with the possibility for an announcement on a USA deal plus according to some one on the LSE BB there's another rumor but would take that one with a pinch of salt.Sorry for ot chaps but run out of MIN talk until we see that RNS and see what's occuring.

MM's tentatively suggesting that something positive is about to happen? Seem to be getting themselves prepared.

The main shareholders have all added to their holdings over the years so have supported the company whenever it seems it was needed. P Raby was first mentioned in 2011 with a holding of 5.3M shares and he now owns 13.7M and N Day's holding has grown from 8.8M in 2015 to 13.05M now. Both have increased their holdings over the past few years and they are directors of Loyalward the limited company being used to develop the CS project. Mrs Adams has recently increased her holding from 6.2M in 2015 to 15.7M now and Mr & Mrs Dvorkin have invested 12.5M recently. I should think their holdings especially Mr Raby are invested at way above the derisory 5.8p current share price. Those on the bod of Minoan have all been supported over many years and will surely be doing what they can to change the current situation?

Well I guess the rns will be on the 29 June.
I have my own theory on what is going on behind the scenes and the likely announcement.

The Board of Minoan are in a league of the own for competence.
You can make excuses for doing business in Greece.

However to open negotiations for a piddling travel division and 6 months later be unable to update shareholders is laughable.You may as well put my 3 year old grandson on the board.

We can speculate and will have a view as to what is going on.However we dont need to because the bod have to make an rns announcement in the next few days before the end of june.

So whatever our theories all will be revealed shortly.

Wondering what say N Day and P Raby ( significant shareholders in Min and directors of Loyalward )have in the CS project. Always reckoned their involvement would ensure that the value of that project would eventually surface, as being directors AND significant shareholders they would look after other Pi interest because they would be looking after their own interests (if that makes sense).

IMHO the time the T&L sale has gone on has just pushed the CS project very much into the background when it should be very much at the front end of the business and pushed for all its worth. I share everyones frustration on that.

But at the end of the day (dare I say it) nothing has changed today, not a negative RNS nor any bad news arriving so, until that arrives, there's still ALL to play for.

Perhaps, but to be a significant player in CS they'd need deep pockets anyway £5-6M debt plus a secondary asset of similar value appears not to be that onerous. In effect they'd just be paying for CS. We'll no doubt find something out within the next few days.

Maybe they have their own shareholders who do not want to take on a company that has debt. Selling the Travel side will get rid of the debt and leave just the value of CS to get to grips with. Minoan cannot sell the project (or the majority) to another party, but another party could purchase Minoan and as long as they then kept the Minoan name, this I believe would meet the terms of the agreement with the Church. It would still be Minoan running the project and it is just the owners of Minoan that have changed.

This would be my best case scenario and there is no evidence or rumours that this is even being entertained.

Why doesn't one of the interested parties in CS just bid for the lot, they could easily dispose of the travel side. Who would want to be in partnership with this lot anyway, just the thought of that must scare of a lot of potential developers away.

Mind you justjill in all fairness they did have a few lined up for the CS project many years ago but of course with all the Greek hold ups which was of no fault of the BoDs they have probably fallen through long ago.

Justjill,they did try to develop the company in other ways,let's see they tried the solar energy route in Greece hmmmm, don't recall what happened to that venture,they tried putting kiosks in post offices for the travel side,that didn't work out either,Think I may be invested in the wrong company here 😋

I agree Scotty, AND WOULD BUY AT THESE LOW LEVELS knowing there is a good profit down the road if I had funds. Problem is like so many others - including you - I've held these for a good few years now at higher prices and just thoroughly tired of waiting for the BoD to drive the company forward and realise the value which would make us all a lot happier and content.

(And we all acknowledge Greece's BIG part in our frustration...and a number of other stock market impact events. But even during all of that you were more likely to get informed and accurate information on the company from the Beano! Meanwhile they could have tried to develop the company in other ways too I think - including sorting long term funding.)

Justjill 😀 on a serious note I still believe there's money to be made here,the only trouble is if they do extend again and there is a cash call any credibility will again vanish and and rises will more than likely be sold into,to stop that happening after the travel sale goes through I reckon/ hope CE will step down and let someone with more credibility take the helm.

Realistically though, any begging bowl would have to carry a min 6p label....given recent and Christmas? (I know that it doesn't have to be that way!)

...anyway maybe just a few more getting tired....maybe our own negativity on here doesn't help settle nerves! :) So the BoD couldn't drive a shopping trolly forward - WTF! lol
