One small factor in delaying travel business sale may be to get maximum lucrative july august school holiday revenue in before sale completes . Balances due 2/ 3 months before departure ! :)

Atlantic yep it's taking longer than anticipated but a deal will be done, you know I've changed my views over the years regarding MIN from negative to positive and visa versa,as an investor/trader you have to as it all depends on what's occuring in a company at any certain time,at the moment and at the current M/C the shares are trading at rock bottom with only around £7/£8m in for CS,yep the Bods have been slow but at the same time they have been after the right deal so I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt and think they will get this across the finishing line ☺

The Maths make compelling sense Scotty but we do need someone in the Company who can
Negotiate a deal.

There's one thing for sure when the news drops ( and it will ) the shares will rerate, with an asset valued at anything in-between 50m euro and 100m euro and debt free and a M/C today of around £14m this is at a bargain price, even at 50m euros you have a 3+ bagger on you hands, wood and trees come to mind,do the maths 🤔

A ) sale of travel bus completed together with sale of part of cs

B) Sale of travel bus and ongoing talks continuing to sell cs

C) sale of travel bus talks terminated and another rollover of Hillside loan
With more options issued and 10% interest rate confirmed.

Thinking about Wi1L comments it could be that the sale of travel business was planned to coincide with loan renewal at the end of June all along to deliver cash flow over the last few months. This would mean that we could see an announcement covering T/L sale, Hillside loan, Future financing, director changes and of course a long awaited development strategy for CS !

Well if board hearsay is anything to go by the travel business is in new hands from the end of the month. So they've a couple of weeks to tell us.

Well just for comparison..ZEN have been doing DD on an asset buy for over 90 days...

DD was up on Friday, but there was a possibility that they could drag it on for a week or two further...but if anyone knows anything about ZEN, will tell you they NEVER complete on anything...but there is always a first time, I should imagine.

They must be working to a set date as no news to the contrary means the sale is still ongoing. Stewart travel makes an operating profit -last years first 6 mths was £200K and they mentioned in the RNS that sales were comfortably ahead of that period so one assumes the operating profit was at least equal or more than this. If you add back depreciation/amort the cash flow generated should be producing quite a sum towards their working capital. So long as the loan can be renewed it wouldn't be a disaster then if the sale didn't go ahead but it would be a setback. We are all in the hands of the bod to come up with the goods.

Moving the mindset and the business positively on to the development of the CS project is the objective as that is where the value is held.

They said in results one reason for choosing 'going concern' was expectation that Hillside loan would be renewed again if necessary. While I expect it won't be a problem, Monday will be day 98 of a due diligence process that could, arguably should, be sorted after 60 days. I guess people have always bought/traded Minoan shares on stirring up hopes of jam tomorrow. Plus ca change...

Haha Costa...

But I think in MINs case, the "T-shirt" would start with the words: "Don't expect to be still ALIVE...!"

Optrade I don't believe anything that goes on in Minoan Lines will have any effect on Minoan Group share price wise or any other wise so pretty pointless posting about them and it just makes it look like desperation to push the share price up,when value will out in the end anyways, just my opinion
