20/6/2018 10:40 | Bet they don't put that post on twitter 😁 | scotty1
20/6/2018 10:25 | Well they only have 7 working days to come out with something other than a loan extension and another placing RNS to facilitate their more than comfortable lifestyle,CE and BC people can only stay positive for so long and you are once again in my case pushing my limits and you are just proving you are just happy to let things plod along whilst ever you are getting you ott remuneration.I think all AIM Bods ought to be on minimum wages until they have proved themselves, they might get things done quicker then.So prove me wrong and get that ferking RNS out. | scotty1
20/6/2018 10:07 | In agreement with waterloo, it needs a proactive major shareholder(s) to get involved, or appoint a NED with the clout to issue an informative and honest update to the Market. | pj 1
20/6/2018 09:24 | Well I'm not sure shambles is the word Colin - but I think we, as so many others, are on "the same page"! :) Our management just seem to lack a pro-active drive/focus/energy. I'm not an expert on the contract details of the development, but I think the company can't offload 100% without agreement of the monastery. Maybe there is a method in the madness, as the monks know nothing will happen while MIN management are in control! :) | justjill
20/6/2018 08:59 | Absolute shambles isn't it? | colinzeal
20/6/2018 08:28 | We hadn't even reached the shortest day in the year last year when they told us that "....an indicative proposal has been received" for the T+L bizz. (20 Dec following the mega-botched fundraise failure) They still can't tell us when this will be put to bed, yet tomorrow is the longest day of the year for this year. Mind you, most days in the year have felt like the "longest" since I have held this stock. :( !!!!!!!!!!!!!! | justjill
20/6/2018 08:16 | All very quiet here, you could hear a pin drop - shame it isn't an RNS, when will that drop?? | wi1l
19/6/2018 16:41 | Think some on twitter seem to think travel side worth a lot more than it is,hope they realise it'll only cover hillside loan (around £6m)or thereabouts which will leave them debt free with an asset worth in-between 50m and 100m euros that's were the value is. | scotty1
19/6/2018 15:46 | Hugo you know what they say,you can take take a horse to water ect I reckon there'll be one or two horses wishing they'd have taken a drink here 😜 | scotty1
19/6/2018 15:19 | Interest is certainly building today - remember with MIN news could come on any day and at any time - although I believe the importance at this stage will make it a 0700 announcement. | hugothesecond
19/6/2018 14:07 | All these years justjill it ain't been that long apart from I started off with hair, all my own teeth, didn't need glasses and my old friend stood up in the morning and watched me clean my teeth where as now he watches me tie my shoelaces 😥 | scotty1
19/6/2018 13:41 | Fair point Scotty. And that's the other thing, all these years, along with our sense of hope we have kept a sense of humour too! Well apart from a few occasions when we completely lost it!! :) | justjill
19/6/2018 13:36 | Getting excited Minoan style - Dolphin Capital mentioned on Twitter (it does after all have its uses!) Edit it looks as though Dolphin Capital are in another area, had me going there still my gut feeling is that a fund with deep pockets will be looking to invest in the CS project. | wi1l
19/6/2018 13:34 | Justjill no it couldn't they wasn't selling the travel side then 😁 Tick Tock | scotty1
19/6/2018 13:17 | Scotty your last, but one, post could be from a couple of years ago not weeks ago! :) God bless 'em, TW and his friends should be paid by MIN as they have written so many positive pieces for them. Oh well....we keep on believin' - not long now. Ooooh, sorry...think we said that years ago too :) | justjill
19/6/2018 13:09 | This is from today 19/06/2018 you may have translate it but it makes interesting reading and includes a piece about Minoan and take a look at how much TUI spends a year in Greece. Minoan Group Plc will implement an impressive project in the north-east of Crete, in Itanos. There are two hotels, residential complexes, a spa center from the world's leading brand Six Senses Resorts and Spas and a unique infrastructure that will allow owners to experience all the possibilities of life on the beach - water sports, yachting, perfect beaches and much, much more. In 2017, the government approved the inclusion of the largest tourist-recreational project in Greece into the country's strategic investment system. It's about the project Elounda Hills, which sells on the island company Mirum. Elounda Hills is an elite tourist and recreational area, the project area is more than 80 hectares, located on the coast, near Elounda and Agios Nikolaos. In general, the project will include about 380 residences, a marina, health and spa centers, restaurants, clubs, a botanical garden, an arts center, a church and much more - in fact, Mirum Hellas plans to create a new city. Separately it is worth noting that the project will include several hotels of the category "5 stars. The largest player in the market TUI Travel spends about half a billion euros annually on the development of the tourism market in Greece. So, soon the company will open new hotels in Rhodes and Crete - and will continue to support the local economy of the promising areas of Greece. hxxps://news.ners.ru | scotty1
19/6/2018 12:17 | And might be somewhat conflicted but you're right they are 'shadow' directors | waterloo01
19/6/2018 12:08 | Two of the main shareholders of Minoan, P Raby and N Day, holding 11% in total, I believe are also directors of Loyalward Ltd the company used to develop the CS project in Crete. It follows that they will be able to keep a close eye on the CS Project although not so much presumably on the T&L sale. | wi1l
19/6/2018 11:34 | Somethings starting to happen, but what?? - MM's after 375K in one go, highest level I've seen. Maybe they are anticipating a buying spree soon...…. | wi1l
19/6/2018 10:44 | The longer this goes on the less likely to be a good outcome for shareholders. Assume is an issue/s have been raised in DD. We're also running the risk of them using rising uncertainty around global trade/brexit as an excuse, no doubt combined with the usual slow down/close down of Greece as we move into summer as to why little progress has been made in Crete. They will then either convert or extend Hillside once again. If the above does transpire, and I hope it doesn't, will the two notifiable shareholders join in a motion to elect a shareholder NED? With NO II notifiable holdings it will take PI's to act, even in this very moderate way in asking for a shareholder NED | waterloo01
19/6/2018 10:40 | I only hope that's true both for myself and for the employees! arf | colinzeal
19/6/2018 10:30 | Well from earlier comment on this board, the staff in the Minoan's travel agents have been told they have a new employer from the end of the month. For me that sort of evidence (albeit hearsay) is worth more than any guesstimate of the state of play. | fireplace22
19/6/2018 10:21 | Although we can only speculate on who is the cause for the continued delay of the T&L sale it is frustrating to see this company only releasing snippets of information when they have to i.e. on the deadline for loan repayment or placings. You could be forgiven for thinking that no progress is being made at all...oh, wait.... :S | colinzeal
19/6/2018 07:43 | Eric when you are selling the purchaser will likely have agreed net asset value purchase price. The Bod expected to complete this sale some time ago the rns of 6 June confirms this. The delay is clearly due to the purchaser not being able to complete for whatever reason. It is very frustrating for all interested parties. However because of the Hillside loan There will have to be an rns in the next few days. | atlantic57 |
