TTNY2004...MCRO will appeal. The case will taken another 4 years to come to decision. In the meantime MCRO will accrue for liability.

I think one must put this into perspective as well. If you consider the potential fine amount to write downs last couple of years for poor HP Enterprise acquisition puts it into perspective

Agree I think this will go on for quite some more time to process appeal. However, Micro Focus will now be required to make a provision for this in case appeal does not succeed.

Case started in 2018. The appeal another 1.5 years imo.

East Texas getting a bad reputation imo. Percentage of patent allegations wins there with a jury trial far beyond the average.

Anyway....these things run on and on in the USA for many years. Look at CINE for example. They have a case from Cineplex for the stopped takeover for hundred of millions. Does not seem to affect them. I think this will just be a blip this morning or even ignored and already priced in.

Just hope Amazon knew of this as will out have reputations clauses etc in contract with MCRO.Presume knew so will not be an issue.This is standard practice in US. Pain in the xxxx tbh but will be short term pain hopefully only
