31/3/2021 14:10 | Not quite right. Apart from the odd time you bought (always mistimed) you constantly called it down incrementally(i.e. never 460-210) whilst the stock was in a downwards channel in the midst of a global pandemic (i.e. not rocket science). You then continued to call it down as the stock entered an upwards trend, e.g. your comments as recently as last week (just before breakout). Problem is, (as many of us stated at the time), had anyone taken your advice, they'd now be seriously out of pocket (especially those who sold at 211!). I've noticed you do this with quite a few shares (CPI being a good example with 10p predicted as the stock hits 44p). I find your analysis akin to saying that all stocks go up in a straight line, keep going up and stay up forever and ever, but hey, that's just little ole me. I'd respect you more if (again like some of us did) you predicted where the share price will be in 6 or 12 months, but I doubt that;s within your mantra ;-) | dr knowledge
31/3/2021 13:43 | I did when the share price was 460p and it went down to 210p.so where is the problem. | sr2day
31/3/2021 12:56 | Lol sr2 you have been calling this down since the days of 200 / 300 quid | scepticalinvestor
31/3/2021 12:15 | According to fundamentals as a software business there is potential for it to be at 7 to 8 times EV. In my fantasy it has the potential to be valued at 100 times EV like Snowflake but one can only dream haha | jw330
31/3/2021 11:56 | 7 weeks to the trading update. I can wait. Recent rise suggests significant interest from institutions imo. That won't disappear. Most selling are hoping to buy back lower. Very different to selling up and moving on. In the end, either it's a good growing company or it isn't. Covid, digitalisation, the cloud, amazon and snowflakes, forward yield over over 10% soon imo. Not selling a bean personally. Roch. | rochdae
31/3/2021 09:12 | I have average daily volume at 1.9m but definitely well up on the first hour...let's clear out the weak sellers and crack on ;) | markbelluk
31/3/2021 09:03 | nearly half a million traded already. Average volume here is around a milllion/day I think Could be a volatile day today. | jw330
31/3/2021 08:42 | Sr2day. Would be nice. Though if it does pull back think 525 to test previous strong resistance will be the area. Unless something completely unexpected happens believe will hold test made and will bounce. I have loads of shares in my pension. However, bagged my SB profits yesterday as saw to be too much too quickly. Of course this may just keep going up and expect 800p over Summer. If it does win due to ling term hold shares. If does pull back a little will reload again on SBs next leg up to 600p and above. | ttny2004
31/3/2021 08:32 | all the way down to 506p i reckon. | sr2day
31/3/2021 08:31 | valid point also. Price drops may be supported by shorters reducing their positions as well as buyers coming in. | jw330
31/3/2021 08:27 | BUT..if the last 3 days rise has not seen an decrease in the short positions they will be looking for a correction point to reduce (like today?) and so may counter? | markbelluk
31/3/2021 08:13 | yeah correction due at some point but from a valuation point of view it has got a long way to run so I wouldn't be surprised if any price weakness gets snapped up. | jw330

31/3/2021 07:24 | There must be a correction at some point soon. Actually I WANT a correction down to 540p so I can buy lots more. The gift that will keep on giving all the way to 2,250p (plus dividend yield of around 4%). Plus special dividends when they spin off OPTIC. etc etc. | purchaseatthetop
31/3/2021 04:21 | : >... indeed SI , though in reality, one suspects not. | stoxx67
31/3/2021 01:51 | The shorters must be getting pretty uncomfortable, Wonder when they are going to rush out the door lol | jw330
30/3/2021 19:04 | Yes, I’ve been stuck in Nano for years too Roch, currently average 67p and it was one for the bottom drawer but with the Samsung case I’m now looking forward to recovering all the money I thought I’d lost. | warranty
30/3/2021 18:59 | not mine anyway.contentment has protected my gains . | sr2day
30/3/2021 18:54 | sr2day.....I thought that was the whole point? | purchaseatthetop

30/3/2021 18:30 | This board obvs has the most successful investors in the FTSE...;) | scepticalinvestor
30/3/2021 18:03 | Rochdale- I use a mixture of shares in my pensions together with funds and SBs in a trading account. As you say with SBs not for the faint hearted but done quite well since pandemic started. Had huge success with MCRO, RR, IPF to name a few. Was buying IPF in 40s in mass and now over 100p Are there any other outstanding stocks you would recommend. | ttny2004
30/3/2021 17:35 | Well that is the trouble with being contrarian. But it is also the reason that my MCRO avg is half the current share price - buying when everyone was giving the stock away | scepticalinvestor
30/3/2021 16:59 | All my holdings went up today. In fact all other stocks I have on my monitor went up too! | highlands |
