11/2/2021 14:28 | Thanks Mo, I couldn't find the number of shares in issue... I'm assuming that the stocko figure is forward looking for the year, but not sure otherwise how they arrive at their figure. Yesterday I think it was 8.something! | brucie5
11/2/2021 14:24 | Off the top of my head Brucie the yield is around 2.3%. 15/650 in cents ( Dividend/Share price). Is that what you mean? | mo123
11/2/2021 14:11 | I have heard that too but it is false.as a nominee holder, you could sue your broker if they do this. | scepticalinvestor
11/2/2021 14:08 | Someone said if everyone set a sell order at say 1000p, they can't borrow your stock to the shorts, it would cost shorts more to borrow, don't know if true, but interesting thought. | montyhedge
11/2/2021 13:50 | MCRO now showing on a divi of 6.8% on Stocko. Does that sound right? | brucie5
11/2/2021 13:24 | "when" you see that price again you mean. See this with Petrofac and Boohoo. Shorters push down and down. | chardy1
11/2/2021 12:40 | Bots really working the share price down. Hate these auto trades.Have sold a few other positions today and will add if we see the 450s again. | scepticalinvestor
11/2/2021 10:19 | barclays for once is spot on unlike some mugs. | sr2day
11/2/2021 09:18 | We're nearly 4 months into the new financial year. So that's almost another 200 million off the debt and 260 million of free cash.. with revenue accelerating. Just too cheap. If they get to fcf of 700 million in the next 24 months that would be nearly half their market cap in cash generation. I don't care what Barclays say .. | rochdae
11/2/2021 09:05 | I see how wallstreetbet started. I was infuriated and all night I was trying to understand why a massive drop happened. I scoured the web to see any damaging report but had no luck. At £4.24 more than happy to hold this for as long as you guys will. Put me off a little now so any future savings, I’ll just put it in ETFs with high risk profile. Lol I’m only 21 anyway so not much to gamble. | boyinvestor
11/2/2021 09:01 | I think you are giving them too much credence & remain convinced that what we are seeing is just your typical "sell the news" profit taking. Personally be more than happy for the share to sit at c470 for a while & rebuild strength. In terms of Barclays, whilst their incredulous update has no doubt not helped - they have one of the worst track records of all brokers. Read this April 19 update from them when they raised their price to £20 for MCRO(and no it wasn't published in April 1st" - Micro Focus has completed its recovery, says Barclays" - as we all know, couple of months after this insightful & optimistic prediction the share price fell off a cliff. ;-) www.proactiveinvesto | dr knowledge
11/2/2021 08:55 | It’s called share manipulation and Barclays should be Called up and face the parliament select committee in denigrating a British company. I think we should all write to Barclays. | gurunostradamus
11/2/2021 08:42 | I dont think Barclays will be held to account by anyone. To an extent is it subjective and most are estimate figures. The fact they even missed the dividend yield off (still shows N/a) shows how much time and effort they put it. Dreadful..as I just wrote on LSE "I just think its very sad when a British institute (Barclays) cant be bother to spend the time and care to get the numbers even remotely right for another British company (same at GSK) when the Swiss and others can. Yet they are willing to issue a damaging note with no sign off / sanity check in place. Its embarrassing IMHO" | markbelluk
11/2/2021 08:40 | their broker note should explain - if you can access it! | scepticalinvestor
11/2/2021 08:36 | Noob question, is Barclay obliged to explained why they came to that conclusion, or they have already that Ive just not seen the whole note in entirety. | boyinvestor
11/2/2021 08:31 | well fair play to Monty - he did get the pullback to the 470's correctwith the results i personally could not see this dipping below the 490s BWTHDIK | scepticalinvestor
11/2/2021 08:20 | bots are relentless | scepticalinvestor
11/2/2021 08:15 | * Micro focus : Credit Suisse raises target price to 540p from 350p | markbelluk
11/2/2021 06:09 | Snippet from the FT 9th Feb : Yet inside a group loaded with acquisition debt and historically starved of investment, there are some decent businesses failing to shine through. These include ArcSight and Fortify, both security software makers, and Vertica, a database provider that uses data analytics tricks developed by Autonomy to deliver something similar to Wall Street darling Snowflake. Goldman Sachs values these divisions at about $2.5bn, or more than 40 per cent of group enterprise value. | gerardp
10/2/2021 23:45 | You know the drill, when everyone is fearful..... | marno17
10/2/2021 18:56 | It's fascinating how one negative advice could demolish the share price | reverend bong
10/2/2021 17:49 | 435k shares exchanged after the market closed. That’s significant. Nothing materially changed from yesterday’s annoucement. 2 positive broker news and 1 negative. I’m not worried one bit. This is all new to me. It’s fascinating how one negative broker advice could completely disregard the company’s fundamentals. | boyinvestor
10/2/2021 17:34 | Yes losses is my name.., I have lost and won unlike this idiot SR2day.., who's ofcourse a winner everytime! | losses
10/2/2021 17:29 | Yes losses (love the name!) you are right..it just frustrates me they can't even get the yield right in the note! (still shows n/a) | markbelluk |
