10/2/2021 15:06 | The Count You are missing the risk of the revenue continuing to decline or whether the turnaround plan will work. The PER of 15 times is fine if everyone was reasonably sure the EBIT is going to increase into the future. I started buying into this company as it looked like the drop was completely over done, even with reducing revenue. On top of that there was a good chance the turnaround would work meaning the share would be re-rated back up to the dizzy heights of £20. It would be nice if debt could be paid off at more than $400m per year so I am hoping for a nice net debt figure in the next update. Target is for 2023 to show increasing EBITDA and net debt at $2.Xbn, then I will be happy with the £15+ share price. | planit2

10/2/2021 14:59 | The count - if ADVFN permits, you might find these links helpful. In the 1st whilst the author is obviously biased, I like the principle of using the price to cash-flow analysis (after all, cash is king) - the graph about 2/3rd down highlights this (median valuation of $17). And sticking with cash I also use in my day to day and like DCF (discounted cash flow) based valuations &the 2nd link shows simply wall street's take using this method. There is no precise science in either (or any valuation model)and so many factors can weigh heavily on predictions, but the conclusions in both (and indeed every single calc I've read re MCRO, irrespective of methodology), is that the stock is seriously undervalued. Interesting also that neither factor in yesterday's update were the target to achieve £700m free cashflow was announced. ;-) www.gurufocus.com/ne www.simplywall.st/st | dr knowledge
