Turvart started quite well on this board only a few days ago but is steadily losing my support.

Tournesol, thanks for a very good summary. I agree on every point you make and I have exactly the same view as you on my feelings towards Europeans as opposed to the EU. I actually think your summary is probably the best summary I’ve seen and could well be the best explanation of what has happened over the last 3.5 years, for people all over the UK.

What you remainers seem to forget is that Sterling is one of the strongest currencies in the World and never ever got converted into the UK system of Euro's but the remainers don't even think of that because they are so dense!

Why would anyone in the right frame of mind want to stay in the EU?

brexitplus shouldn't attempt to excuse his bigotry and his gloating over the fall of remainers by pretending they are all 'Horrible' people.

This is how insane people think.

Keyno, BILD May not be to your taste but a German perspective is welcome.

And I love the way Heseltine has asked for Remoaners “noses not to be rubbed in it” saying Brexit is divisive. Of course had the bad-Losers actually won he would have stayed very quiet and not worried about Brexiteers in the slightest. Horrible man.

If you wish to disagree with me then disagree with what I've actually said. Trying to put words in my mouth is not useful.

Why would anyone in the right frame of mind even think that the UK would prosper in the EU?

The UK average worker is paid less than the EU worker compared with France and Germany!

Why is it that the UK worker has to work harder than any EU Country just to support the other EU countries? WHY? because we the UK workers have been exploited by our UK government that became slaves and yes men to Brussels.

It seems to me the baby boomers all have a screw loose and are hanging onto the coat tails of an empire long gone, apart from one or two of course. :)

"How has it managed to gain such a hold on the minds of the young and the politically/economically naive?"

Naive? Really? So Rupert Murdoch does not partake in the brainwashing of individuals and The creature from Jekyll Island has no links with US plutocrats? Is that what you are saying?

A weekend EU - how close to the truth is that? And Newquay is much more than sunning, surfing and drinking....typical uneducated comments from our Marxist Corbynite. You forgot the County Line business, largest growth industry in Cornwall, apparently.

Well the proof of the pudding was certainly at the election, my whole family voted Tory just to get us out of Brexit, it was almost like a second referendum.

Very interesting article on Brexit by a German, Alexander von Schoenburg who is editor-at-large at BILD, Germany's biggest-selling paper. Yes, I know it’s in the Mail but he talks a lot of sense.

Hello chaps. You are still very busy. Just back from Cheltenham having met a Brexiteer friend who was a few years ago a very well known figure in the City of London. By that I mean a top man, not a busker!!! He is absolutely delighted that we are leaving.

"Had you not thought of that option??"

So we have a far-right government and you think the money is going to be spent for 'the people'. Yes, of course, Boris will sweeten the gullible and present his case with great PR , and then set to work to meet the objectives of his plutocratic backers.

Some people do need to wake up.

You have weekend the EU and emboldened China, Russia and the US. Well done.

As for yours and other peoples travels - just anecdotes and irrelevances. I don't make decisions and form opinions on just anecdotes. It seems simple folk do.
